The move by DOJ would wipe away prosecutors' most hard-fought convictions in the years that followed the Jan. 6 riot, erasing legal consequences for the people DOJ once said were most responsible for the chaos and violence that unfolded. politico.com/news/2026/04/14…

the over 500,000 illegal israeli settlers in the west bank can vote. the 3M+ palestinians in the same area cannot. that is apartheid.
Two million Arabs vote in today’s election in Israel. Very strange Apartheid.

Great chart highlighting one aspect of the institutionalized racism at Harvard. Glad civil rights heroes like Mr. Mortara were willing to represent the civil rights victims. Incredible work, a foundation for much of the vital civil rights work ongoing today
Added some relevant dates.

1/ This suggests that @Harvard, prior to the #SCOTUS decision in SFFA, had a heavy thumb on the scale against Asian American applicants.👇
Asian-Americans in Harvard’s Incoming Class More Than Double, to 43.2 Percent Newly released data on the Harvard College class of 2030 say the class is 43.2 percent Asian-American, a record high and more than double the level when Students for Fair Admissions first sued Harvard alleging racial discrimination in admissions. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2023 that Harvard was unlawfully using race as a factor in admissions. Since then, the numbers of Hispanic and black students in the incoming Harvard classes have dipped, while the numbers of Asian-Americans have soared.

Assassinations are about to get a lot easier. Not to mention stalking.
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks. By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time. Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

For this reason, I automatically delete any @Harvard_Law requests for alumni donations. @Harvard needs to admit fault and apologize to Asian Americans.
And yet Harvard has still not admitted it was discriminating against Asian American applicants and somehow a district judge believed Harvard’s lies.

Professors John Holden, @McCannSportsLaw and me: here's a 50+ page analysis on how collective bargaining in college sports can work: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.… Professor Will Berry: generally same Professor Michael LeRoy: also generally same And good ole' Randy Levine: 😽
“I really don’t see (that) there’s any way to do (collective bargaining) … In addition to opening up the National Labor Relations Act, which is problematic based on the political situation in this country, I think you have serious Tenth Amendment issues down the line. So, I don’t think (collective bargaining is) possible.”  During his appearance on SportsWise with Professor Gabe Feldman, Randy Levine – President of the New York Yankees and Vice Chairman of the Saving College Sports Roundtable, a Presidential committee – discussed whether collective bargaining amongst college athletes is feasible. Levine also spoke about how student-athletes have been a key part of discussions impacting the future of college athletics.  Episode Link: sportswisepod.com/will-congr…

We at The Reporters Collective @reporters_co, a tiny non-profit newsroom, stood up to defend journalism against govt attempt to paralyse the profession through a Trojan horse in the Privacy law. We filed a case before the Supreme Court in February 2026 and launchedwww.rti404.com, a watchdog project to protect RTI and journalism, both. Months later the for- profit big media businesses have realised, not just journalism but revenue of their media business would be hurt too by what the govt is doing. Personally, I am glad they have eventually seen value in joining us. Read Our Statement from February 16, 2026. 👇 reporters-collective.in/blog…
EXCLUSIVE: India’s biggest news publishers including Ambani's Network18, Adani's NDTV, Indian Express, Times Internet & others mount the most high-profile challenge yet to Modi’s privacy law, warning it would “render investigative journalism a benign and neutered recorder of events.” DNPA (@publishers_news) has taken the law to the Supreme Court. They argue it would trample investigative work and let New Delhi identify journalists’ sources. The provisions “constitute pre-censorship which is anathema to any democracy worth its name,” the group’s 698-page filing says. The key concerns: 🔹 Consent: requiring a journalist to notify the subject of an investigation and seek consent “would allow that subject to destroy evidence, intimidate witnesses” 🔹 Erasure: people can withdraw consent and demand their data be erased, which the group says could force publishers to unpublish or heavily redact news reports 🔹 Sources: a “nakedly unguided” power to demand information that “can extend to privileged communications in possession of a reporter or the informant” In a letter to the government, the group said India “has chosen to grant broad exemptions to the state, while failing to extend any corresponding protection to the press.” reuters.com/business/media-t…

What are India’s biggest news publishers, including NDTV, Network18, Times Internet and the Indian Express, telling the Supreme Court about Modi’s privacy law? They are all part of DNPA, @publishers_news Below is from their Supreme Court filing: 🔹 The law would “render investigative journalism a benign and neutered recorder of events” 🔹 The provisions “constitute pre-censorship which is anathema to any democracy worth its name” 🔹 Requiring a journalist to notify the subject of an investigation and seek consent “would allow that subject to destroy evidence, intimidate witnesses” 🔹 From next year, New Delhi can order any organization handling personal data “to furnish such information as it may call for,” putting newsrooms at risk of having to divulge sources 🔹 The “nakedly unguided” provision “can extend to privileged communications in possession of a reporter or the informant” 🔹 India “has chosen to grant broad exemptions to the state, while failing to extend any corresponding protection to the press”

Jared Kushner sent over $80M to a HITMAN. that’s a lot of money. I wonder if the hit was done in a public setting. I wonder if the victim was a well-known political figure.
