Following our earlier update, we have identified a security issue in Web3Auth infrastructure affecting certain embedded wallets used by Keplr.

Initial findings and some clarifications on the Google/Apple login incident.
First, to those affected: I'm sorry, and we're doing everything we can.
1. This was not a hack of Keplr's code. The incident originated at Web3Auth, a provider Keplr uses.
All other Keplr accounts, secret recovery phrases, and hardware wallets are safe.
2. It appears that this affects some, but not all, accounts created with Google or Apple login. Our early estimate is about 20% of them affected.
3. We're working with the Web3Auth/MetaMask team on tracking and recovery.
I don't want to be overly optimistic, but it appears only a fraction of that 20% has actually been exploited, and the remaining accounts may be recoverable. More on this soon.
Personally, this one hits hard. People who created their wallet with a Google or Apple ID are likely crypto beginners and the crypto curious.
It's been a tough few years for the Cosmos ecosystem, and this doesn't help.
To everyone who reached out with help and support: thank you 🙏 It means a lot.

A hack has occurred that has affected a significant number of users who created their Keplr Wallet accounts using a Google or Apple ID. Given the large number of $LUNC and $USTC investors who use Keplr Wallet, it is important that we share some key points.
If you did not use a Google or Apple ID to quickly set up your Keplr Wallet, there is no need to worry.
Almost all of our followers have used Terra Station and/or Galaxy Station, having set up their wallets manually by creating passwords and wallet keys. There is no cause for concern for this group. Nevertheless, let’s remain vigilant. Due to issues encountered with Terra Station, many of us have been accessing our wallets via Keplr Wallet; it is advisable to keep an eye on any updates regarding Keplr.

メタプラは確か、保有するBTCの大部分を機関向けのカストディアンに預けていて、コールドウォレットで管理していると開示していたと思います。
今回のBinanceの被害は、社員のPCを経由した不正出金が疑われてますが、ブロックチェーン自体が破られたわけではありません。
つまり、Binanceがハッキングされたからといって、別の保管先にあるメタプラネットのBTCまで盗まれるわけではないということです。44,000BTCの保管先が完全に公開されているわけではないですけどね。詳細に公開されてても怖いし。
この辺りの安全性を公式が説明してくれるとありがたいですね。日本のトレジャリー企業のリーダーとして。サイモン社長が多忙なら、別の方でもいいと思います。こういうときこそ、個人投資家との距離を縮め、信頼関係を深めてほしいなと思います。

【公務員は無能だから給料を上げるな？】
今回の給与引き上げについて
「公務員は仕事ができない」
「税金で給料をもらっているくせに」
「民間では通用しない人間ばかり」
といったコメントが寄せられたので
少しだけ反論したい
まず、今回の給与引き上げについて
そもそも大きな誤解があります
2026年の人事院勧告では一定規模以上の民間企業と国家公務員の給与を、役職や年齢・勤務地などの条件を揃えて比較しています
その結果、民間の給与が
国家公務員より平均15,056円高かった
つまり今回の3.51％の引き上げは、公務員だけが特別扱いされたわけではなく民間との給与格差を是正するためのもの
もちろん税金が原資である以上、給与水準や仕事の成果について厳しい目が向けられるのは当然の感情かもしれません
仕事をしない職員や、非効率な行政運営については改善を求めてもよいでしょう
ただし、ここからが重要！
「自分が接した公務員が仕事のできない人だった」
という個人的な経験や
なんとなく公務員なんて無能だろ？！
のような根も葉もない感情論で
「公務員の大半は無能である」
という結論は、全く別の話
っていうか普通に失礼すぎでしょ
実際に「優秀なのは1割、残りの多くは無能」というコメントもあったが、その根拠が「体感」では何の証明にもならない
民間企業に優秀な人もそうでない人も存在するように、公務員も同じ
こんなことは、どの世界でもどの業界、どのジャンルでも同じこと
行政サービスの質を維持し、優秀な人材を確保するためにも適正な待遇は必要です
これは何も私が公務員対策の仕事をしている立場だから公務員という職業を無条件に擁護したいわけではない
もし批判するのであれば、個々の職員の怠慢や非効率な制度であって、公務員という職業そのものではないはず
そして、もう一つ
本来目指すべきは
「公務員の給料を下げる社会」
ではなく
「民間も公務員も、働く人の給料が上がる社会」
誰かの給料が上がったことを批判しても
自分の給料が上がるわけではない
公務員の給与について議論することは大いに結構
ただし、議論するなら感情や思い込みではなく、客観的な事実に基づいて行うべき
それが建設的な批判というものだと思うけど、結論、SNSはこれでいいのかもしれない。

国家公務員の給与引き上げが決定しました
月給は平均3.51％（約1万5000円）のアップ
ボーナスは4.70ヶ月分となり
これで5年連続の引き上げ
これを見て
「公務員だけずるい！」
「国民の生活は苦しいのに！」
という批判の声が多く上がるのも毎年の風物詩
毎日身を粉にして働いているのに、給料が上がるどころか下がる人もいる現実を踏まえると不公平に感じるのも仕方ない感情だと思います
でも、あえて言わせてください
この「世間から嫉妬され、批判されてしまうほどの圧倒的な安定感」こそが、公務員という職業の最大の魅力なんです
そしてこれは今に始まった話ではなく
何十年も昔からわかりきっている話
世の中の景気がどうであれ、会社の業績に怯えることなく、ルールに基づいて着実に給与が見直される
数年後にいくらもらえるか
ボーナスが確実にいくら出るか
未来の収入が「計算できる」という安心感は、人生においてとてつもない精神的なゆとりを生み出します
休日は趣味に没頭し、家族との時間を心から楽しむ
将来のお金の不安で夜眠れなくなることもない
人が仕事、職業を選ぶ基準はいろいろで本人が良ければなんでもいいと思います
穏やかで現実的な生活を守る土台を優先するなら
公務員ほど強力なカードは他にありません
どういう職業を選ぶのも自由です
なりたいならなればいい
目指したいなら目指せばいい
今の自分は過去の自分が選択した結果
ただそれだけの話
いつも自分で選択してる
他の誰も強要していない
どれだけ努力しても
大谷翔平にはなれません
でも公務員試験に特別な才能なんて
一切必要ありません
基礎を徹底し間違った勉強法を捨てて
泥臭く手を動かせば誰にでもチャンスはあります
・数学が0点でした
・50歳を超えての挑戦です
・シングルマザーで多忙で勉強時間がありません
・面接試験で語れるエピソードがありません
・5年連続で不合格です

みんな公務員合格しました
もし今回のニュースを見て「なんだかんだ言って、やっぱり公務員っていいな」と少しでも感じたのなら
その直感を信じて受験すればいいだけの話
翌年から人生の土台が変わります
賢く立ち回り、自分の人生を守る
そのためのスタートを切るのに
今からでも全く遅くありません
転職、再チャレンジ、もっと気軽にやればいいのに
今の職場に未来がないならさっさと見切りをつけて自分の人生をより良くする可能性の高い選択肢を取るだけ。
なんで不満を感じながら続けるんだろ・・・

This proposal patches a duplicate-signature counting vulnerability (Upstream #142) in the Hyperlane cross-chain contracts.
While support is currently at 99.84% YES, turnout is only 6.98% (far below the 40% Quorum required). The proposal is at risk of failing due to insufficient participation!

Hello Everyone 📢📢📢
It's upgrade time again. I prepared release v4.1.0 of the terrad blockchain client for $lunc #TerraClassic. This one fixes a major issue - although not security related.
Under certain conditions a transaction could be included into the networks mempool but rejected from being included in a block while at the same time the transaction would not be dropped from the mempool either.
So, lets call this type of tx a "ghost transaction".
These ghost transactions lead to a permanent blocking of it's sender account. The affected account is not able to send transactions anymore.
This actually happened to a validator. The validator was jailed. And because he submitted a ghost transaction prior to his jailing even he was not able to unjail the validator anymore. He was stuck for weeks.
I was able to help him by providing him direct broadcast access to a validator whose mempool behavior was patched. And with a bit of hacky code and the correct timing we were able to unjail the validator again.
v4.1.0 fixes the root cause of these ghost transactions. And it also ships some hardening and documentation fixes. Not a big upgrade. But a sign, that the network is healthy and actively maintained.
