Wow! 😳 This is astounding!

Yes, the statement is accurate for the UK in 2024-25. Official HMRC data shows income tax receipts at £309.4 billion, while OBR and GOV.UK figures indicate social security benefits expenditure at around £313 billion, exceeding income tax. This means all income tax revenue covers benefits, with other taxes funding public services.

Being a communist in 2026 means one of two things. Either you're stupid. Or you've never opened a history book. You cite Lenin and October 1917 as your model. Fine. Let's look at the model. Lenin gave us the Cheka, the Red Terror, war communism, and the 1921 famine that killed around 5 million people. Stalin gave us the Holodomor, millions of Ukrainians starved on purpose. The Great Purge, roughly 700,000 people shot in two years. The Gulag, more than 1.5 million dead. Mao gave us the Great Leap Forward, the deadliest famine in human history, with estimates running from 15 to 45 million dead. Then the Cultural Revolution on top of it. Pol Pot gave us Year Zero. Money abolished, cities emptied at gunpoint, wearing glasses was enough to get you killed for being an intellectual. Close to a quarter of Cambodia's population gone in under four years. The Kims gave us three generations of hereditary communism, a famine in the 90s that killed hundreds of thousands, and camps that are still running today. Mengistu gave Ethiopia its own Red Terror, then a famine his policies made far worse. Castro gave Cuba firing squads, political prisoners, and six decades of people risking their lives on rafts to get out. Ceaușescu, Hoxha, Honecker. A wall in Berlin built not to keep enemies out, but to keep its own people in. And for the "21st-century socialism" crowd: Venezuela, sitting on the largest oil reserves on the planet, watched nearly 8 million of its people flee. Every continent. Every culture. Every decade. Same result. Depending on who's counting, tens of millions dead, close to 100 million according to The Black Book of Communism. So why does it fail every single time? Not bad luck. Not the wrong people in charge. Not "real communism has never been tried." Mises explained it in 1920, before Stalin even took power. If the state owns all the means of production, there is no market for them. No market means no prices. No prices means no way to calculate anything. You can't know whether a factory here is worth more than a railway there. A planned economy isn't just inefficient. It's blind. It's flying a plane with every instrument ripped out. Hayek went further. In "The Use of Knowledge in Society," he showed that the knowledge needed to run an economy doesn't exist in one place. It's scattered across millions of people: the farmer who knows his soil, the shopkeeper who knows his customers, the engineer who knows which part is about to break. Prices are the only system that aggregates all of it in real time. No committee, no Politburo, no five-year plan can replace that. The Great Leap Forward is the textbook case. Local officials, terrified of being purged, reported harvests that didn't exist. Beijing requisitioned grain based on fake numbers. The peasants starved. When you kill the price signal, the only information left is lies told to people with guns. And in "The Road to Serfdom," Hayek explained the rest. When the plan fails, and it always fails, someone has to impose it by force. Central planning requires concentrated power, and concentrated power attracts the people most willing to use it. He titled a whole chapter "Why the Worst Get on Top." That's the mechanism. Destroy prices, you destroy information. Destroy information, the economy collapses. Once it collapses, you need terror to keep it standing. Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot weren't betrayals of communism. They were communism working exactly as designed. So when someone tells you in 2026 that he wants to replicate October 1917, take him at his word. He's not promising you equality. He's promising you the Cheka.
I am a communist. I believe the capitalist state can’t be reformed and needs to be toppled and replaced with a new state power built on the armed revolutionary workers and oppressed, looking to the example of Lenin and the Bolshevik revolution of October 1917.

“The reset talks are a national shame, an exercise in collective humiliation. The Government is not going into them with a series of demands to be traded against EU demands. Rather, it is going in determined to expiate the sin of the 2016 referendum, to atone, to agree to whatever is put in front of it, and then to claim that such agreement was its own plan all along. Eurocrats have clocked it. They smell our negotiators’ misery, their embarrassment, their longing for absolution. They have understandably upped their own demands in response, ordering Britain to hand over cash, fish, sovereignty and self-respect.” Paywall down. telegraph.co.uk/gift/0fa19b6…

🚨 LOYAL: Marco Rubio just stood next to President Trump and made it CLEAR whose side he's on. "It would have been very easy to just ignore the Iran thing, leave it for the next guy." "This president wasn't elected to ignore it." "He did it for you. Not for him, not for anybody else." "That's why I'm so honored to be the Secretary of State." The fake news media wanted a rift. They got the opposite.

I suspect that's the plan. Then Burnham will say we need to rejoin so we can have a seat at the table when the rules/regulations are agreed.

Catherine also points out that: "Everything in this document has already been agreed. There will be no negotiation about the Reset on November 20th." "...any costs in the Reset are UNFUNDED. The press release obviously doesn’t want to remind people that nothing the EU does is free, so the document doesn’t mention any costs..." I trust that those wanting Brexit & democracy will fight with Catherine.

It surely isn’t possible that a free Parliament in a modern democracy will vote for this degree of self abasement and national humiliation.

Tatchell is making up shit again. Next he’ll be telling us he didn’t defend paedophilia in a letter to the Guardian in 1997.
Good grief @PeterTatchell will you PLEASE stop making things up. The Bill does NOT say ANYTHING about assumptions that the victim is “damaged, broken, perverted, abnormal, sick or immoral”. You say here that's an actual criterion in the Bill. It is not. You have to stop this.

Top 11 reasons why I left Islam. 1. Irrational hate of the Christianity. 2. Irrational hate of the Jews. 3. Irrational hate of the Hindu. 4. Quran is badly written, very incoherent and without any sense of spirituality like the religion. 5. Prophet was a s*xually depraved warmongerings p*do (that became the first top reason the more I uncovered it). 6. Not allowing any dissent or to leave. 7. Irrational hate of all polytheists. 8. There is no respect for women in Islam. 9. The religion combined with Sharia isn’t much different to Communism. 10. Subjugation and restriction of women to be free, as they want to be. 11. In Islam a man can marry 3 times and woman can marry 1 time and they can also do Halala with them?

Somebody asked Douglas Murray who will win between the Islamists and the Leftist/Greens in their Alliance? And Douglas Murray replies “the side that is willing to shoot the other in the Head will win.” And then he refers to Iran where exactly this Alliance took place in the 1970’s to get rid of the Sha - and the leftists were all shot in the head and hung from Lamposts. And Murray says that will happen wherever they are not stopped . youtube.com/shorts/4BpUAKgt1…

IDENTIFIED: On November 6, 2026, antisemitic thugs targeted City St George's, University of London professor Michael Ben-Gad. We have identified some of them; they are repeat offenders and professional protesters, not students. 1. Saoirse Noone
Security at @CityStGeorges did a good job stopping the masked pro-Pals reaching an Israeli professor they targeted. We need to identify these thugs.
