The real competition here seems to be "who can make the silliest looking glasses" Strong entrant

Great opportunity here. For the right person, this is a great & challenging role. And you will learn a TON of stuff on fast forward. (I say this first-hand: I've worked with Girdley for 3+ years.)
JOB ALERT: I'm hiring a new Chief of Staff. Can you help me spread the word? If you know anyone smart and capable who’s looking, send them my way! (I'd also love any help amplifying this, like liking/replying/etc. to this post!)

Is Hormozi a D&D guy? Popped up while looking for the parody account that's like @charliewrich playing a wizard.
You wouldn’t slay a dragon without a badass war party. So why would you try and build a massive business with the cheapest people you can find? Build a bench of heroes to get heroic victories. You can’t be a paladin, mage, healer, spellcaster, all in one.

Hot take: all albums should have a "Yule Log" version.

** ANNOUNCEMENT ** The team that produces a significant portion of my content is expanding to serve additional clients. They’ll be offering the same services they do for me: turning an expert’s ideas into scalable, shareable lessons that can grow a business. They’ve quietly been doing this for a couple of clients already, and it’s going so well that they’re leaning in. They’re calling themselves Union Media Group led by @TyDeemer and team. If you are an expert in your field, have a passion for teaching, see the power of building an audience, and have a proven business model, BUT you don’t have expertise in how to create compelling social content, and you want to delegate the grunt work to smart people, let’s talk (DM me or Ty though if you DM me, I'll send you to Ty. :-) -- How did this come together? There are parts of creating content that I love, and parts that I don’t. I like getting inspired, hitting record, and finding the teachable moments. When I learn something, I want to share it with others. I don’t like working on finishing touches, figuring out how to package my ideas, or doing all the legwork to get it out there. So I built a content team starting in 2022. It allowed me to do more of what I love, less of what I don’t, and reach more people with my teaching than I could have on my own. And along the way, they’ve learned how to do newsletters, video, X, LinkedIn — all incredibly well. Between AdSense, X payouts, sponsorships, and our conference, the media team has paid for itself, which makes me happy and ensures its sustainability. Now, these folks want to grow the business beyond just me. I’m cool with that! --- So we took a page out of the Amazon playbook: first, build something you need, then sell the infrastructure to other people outside of your internal customers. Amazon does this better than anyone else: • Warehouse and delivery services. FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) is expected to bring in over $100 billion this year alone. • Search optimization for users. Today, Amazon generates $40 billion per year by selling top search result slots. • And, of course, AWS. The web infrastructure they built for themselves now supports half the internet (and will generate over $120B this year). — This Union Media Group team is why I’m gaining thousands of YouTube subscribers every week, hosting monthly lectures with hundreds of people in attendance at each one, and running a profitable podcast from just one hour a week of riffing about business listings. (Not to mention producing my newsletter each week.) And if you know someone who would be a good fit, send them our way! Also, h/t to @mhp_guy who was the first to notice this Amazon parallel. Mad smart! Finally, if you have any questions, please ask in the replies below. I'll answer them. -- Michael

You'd think "Summer Ski Resort" could charge $$$ for tickets. So why is it only 50 bucks a day? And why are the owners selling up? @girdley and @EndresenHeather take a closer look in today's episode.

Genius marketing or nutbar? Got a flurry of messages from someone wanting to buy ALL my FB Marketplace listings. But she kept flaking on pickup times, with elaborate explanations. The kicker: "Just come out to my petting zoo this weekend, your whole family will love it!"

Help me vibe-coding-twitter... I've spent the last 2 hours copy-pasting python scripts from ChatGPT trying to wrangle a Selenium agent, and the vibes are tedious at best What's a better way to do this?
