Art Deco knew a thing or two about transforming theatres into some of the most spectacular interior spaces
Cybersecurity startup Cathedral used AI agents to penetrate Anthropic’s sensitive internal systems in under 12 hours, exposing massive security vulnerabilities.
Cathedral exploited weaknesses in third-party software, uncovering access paths to internal Slack discussions about advanced AI models, confidential meeting transcripts, and employee salary records.
Anthropic later confirmed the intrusion but claims other sensitive info was not compromised.

A 90 day power grid collapse would wipe out 75 million Americans. 22% of the population.
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis.
Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures."

Reddit’s largest open-source community, r/opensource, has introduced new rules banning projects that use AI, are built with AI, or are made for AI.
The new rules say projects must be at least 1 year old, have multiple contributors, and be posted by someone who speaks English.
They also warn users that if they post AI-generated content or “LLM output tokens,” they can be permanently banned.
Don’t speak English? The rules literally say you “need to find a different community” because moderators say they can’t tell AI-written English from AI-translated English.
The moderators say Linux is still allowed

Vivek Ramaswamy was kicked off a GOP bus tour this weekend with other members of the Ohio Republican ticket because of the ad against Amy Acton.
A top Republican told Zeteo, “We’re getting calls that people don’t want him there,”. Some business owners and event hosts said they do not want the “horrendous publicity” or angry phone calls, social-media attacks, or customer complaints that they would get for hosting Ramaswamy’s campaign tour.

Incredible. The man who made my favorite childhood game and defined the platofrmer genre and set the gold standard for gaming experiences has approved of generative AI. It is Miyamoto San vs Reddit admins now.

Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, on generative AI and the evolution of videogame creation:
'As you mentioned earlier, this is an era where even people who aren't game designers can make games. If we broaden the definition of a 'game,' I think the era has already arrived where everyone can make games. I had always thought it would be ideal for those boundaries to disappear, so I think this has become a very good era.'

The r/OpenSource subreddit has officially banned anything using AI. In any way. Violators will be permanently banned.
Which means… r/OpenSource will ban anyone submitting anything that, in any way, involves… the Linux kernel.

Trying to stop AI is like trying to stop the Internet from happening. Once it got started that was it. People need to accept it's a new tool everyone is going to use and get over it.

It gets even better, the mod gave a weak ass reason on why the Linux kernel is exempt.
Fucking hypocrites, I swear.

Imagine an entire team of expert coders using agents to create a game. Such a team would be unstoppable.
I'm not sure a lot of people understand what game coders actually do. We're not spending 9 hours a day finely hand crafting artisan software and expressing our inner dreams... 90% of the time we are fighting compilers and existing architecture, having to work out how undocumented code works, and tracking down obscure bugs and behavioural issues.
Most of game programming is just difficult, tedious, laborious grunt work, and the cognitive load we have to endure to get anything done is tiring and frustrating. No game coder is doing it for this 90% of the job.
We make games because the 10% that IS actually about making things fun and expressing ourselves is so incredibly rewarding it makes the other 90% bearable.
Now imagine if there was a tool, some kind of AI agent maybe, which could do most of the 90% grunt work for you, leaving you to just make all the decisions and express your creativity. How amazing would that be. How completely revolutionary would that be.
