.@gannett's team of 14 Midwest digital producers who serve @USATODAY properties like @indystar @courierjournal filed charges with @NLRB last week. They were in midst of unionizing when Gannett eliminated the team, per charge document obtained under FOIA.

Not only annual layoffs but we are taking mass layoffs in huge numbers and this year #Gannett has already done 3 rounds of mass layoffs of at least 600 valuable employees from news teams already cut to the bone.
