Here's a look at snow clearing operations on the apron at Terminal 1.
Our teams use front-end loaders to load large volumes of snow into inground and portable snow melters. This process enables us to keep critical apron surfaces cleared of snow to support airport operations.

With heavy snowfall expected today and into tomorrow, if you can, avoid any unnecessary travel.
If you must drive, remember:
- Clear all snow off your vehicle before departing
- Drive to conditions
- Give snow-clearing equipment room to do their work
- Give yourself time to reach your destination
- Watch for pedestrians/cyclists
If walking, cycling or taking transit:
- Be alert of your surroundings
- Give yourself extra time and travel to conditions
- Use a crosswalk or crossride, when possible
- Use bike lights and reflectors when cycling

My top priority as Premier will be to get you a family doctor. It’s time to get the basics right for Ontario.
We will put an end to Doug Ford's wasteful spending, and invest in hiring doctors, eliminate time-wasting paperwork, and improve the Ontario Health Team network.
That’s my plan. That's my commitment. And I'll work like hell to make sure it's a reality.
