Currently JETT is still missing, there was a possible sighting near Dalton Park, which is not confirmed as being JETT but was followed up by several volunteers for many hours last night. Please, please, keep looking for him he must be so scared, tired, cold & hungry"

Much of the madness of gender ideology happens behind closed doors. People say unbelievably stupid things, and make unbelievably stupid and often dangerous decisions.

The Laffer Curve strikes again. Rachel Reeves’s absurd increases to stamp duty have backfired after tax receipts from property sales above £5m fell by £541m in the 18 months following her 2024 budget when she raised the second-home stamp duty surcharge to 5%.
Data from estate agents Knight Frank show that in the 18 months subsequent to the budget, the number of sales above £5m dropped by 14% from 2,569 to 2,208, when compared with the 18 months before the budget. Of course it is not just the stamp duty that is lost but also the economic activity that accompanies the property transactions.
Reeves has just signed up to the Chartwell Speakers agency to sell speeches for money. Surely for anyone to buy a speech from her is a badge of idiocy?

"I think it is an astonishing and audacious power-grab to announce your (ungrammatical) pronouns and expect others to use them. I don’t think anyone is entitled to exercise that kind of detailed control over other people’s speech."
Replying to @leakylike @ForWomenScot
It can be framed as harrassment iirc. There was a post a couple of years on the legalfeminist site which goes into various scenarios (by @loudbonnet, I think).
Issues can be sidestepped, tediously, by not using pronouns. (I do this to avoid friction over a troon I know).

Citizens will continue to die so long as this shameful, irresponsible nonsense is the response. I'd hope there would be some in the SNP who will publicly condemn this disgraceful MSP.

Be Jack Doherty.
> Born in 2003 on Long Island, New York.
> At 12 years old, you start a YouTube channel. Your first video is you flipping markers. Two flips. That's the entire production.
> It eventually gets nearly 30 million views.
> You discover something important. The internet will pay extraordinary amounts of money for things that cost almost nothing to produce.
> By 2017, you have 100,000 subscribers. By 2018, you have a million.
> At 15, you're making so much money that you later claim to have $400,000 in a Robinhood account.
> You trade options. Turn $400,000 into $800,000. Then trade your way right back to $400,000.
> An early education in capital markets.
> By the time you graduate high school, you claim to have between $1 million and $2 million saved.
> At 18, you start an OnlyFans management agency. You figure out that having millions of followers is a pretty effective customer acquisition strategy. You later claim one client generated nearly $1 million in a single month.
> By 2023, your YouTube channel crosses 10 million subscribers.
> You expand into livestreaming, sponsorships, merchandise, and increasingly elaborate publicity stunts.
> You become very good at monetizing attention.
> In 2024, you're reportedly renting a South Florida mansion for $55,000 a month. That's $660,000 a year in rent.
> You drive a McLaren that reportedly cost $202,850.10.
> You crash it while livestreaming in the rain. Kick bans your account. You reportedly give $10,000 to a bystander who helped rescue you.
> Naturally, the footage goes viral.
> Around this time, a sponsor also funds a birthday event that you say cost $400,000. Roughly $200,000 for rapper Lil Baby to perform and another $200,000 for the party.
> Not bad for a business that started with a marker.
> By 2026, you have more than 15 million YouTube subscribers and billions of lifetime views.
> You venture further into cryptocurrency.
> In September, a memecoin associated with your name, $JACK, reportedly reaches a $6.68 million market capitalization before collapsing roughly 98%.
> You return to looking for sponsorships.
> Enter Shuffle.com, a crypto casino.
> Unlike most brands, which pay influencers to promote their products, Shuffle publicly offers to pay you to shut up.
> You apparently take them up on the offer.
> You sign a contract.
> You do not read the contract.
> According to your own account, the agreement contains a provision prohibiting you from posting online for six months.
> You thought it was a joke.
> It was not, according to the casino.
> You announce this unfortunate development to your millions of followers.
> By posting online.
> Your lawyers begin trying to get the agreement scrapped.
> Shuffle's founder confirms the six-month term and announces that the money was well spent getting you off the internet. He says the company intends to stand firm.
> The actual amount Shuffle paid you remains undisclosed. So does the complete contract, meaning its ultimate enforceability is an open question.
> But the business model is fascinating.
> For nearly a decade, you've built an empire convincing companies that your ability to speak to millions of people is worth paying for.
> Then, at 23 years old, you find a company willing to pay you for the exact opposite.
And even if your lawyers eventually get you out of the agreement, Shuffle has already generated an extraordinary amount of free publicity!
