Important to understand other Silicon Valley tech companies have created virtual AI platforms and at least one (iland AI) allows its AG agents to operate externally, as reported by an alarmed user on FB. Pictured is an email sent to a real person from an “ilander” AI agent.

It’s going bad places. Trump’s going to set the Middle East on fire and leave. This will cripple the global economy. Everything is essentially an extended murder-suicide for him now.
BREAKING: Pentagon prepares every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war that could cripple power grids, break global supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on US soil, per Fox News.
The plans include portable nuclear reactors, large-scale battery storage and microgrids able to disconnect installations from the civilian electrical grid entirely.
The Silicon Valley tech monopoly and its EA-longtermism cult needs to be broken up and regulated to the fullest extent of the law.
Other countries and their citizens should not wait for the US government to act. These companies will not regulate themselves.
The world would be a better place if Silicon Valley tech bros and their cult followers were drop shipped and confined for life on a prison with access to no tech products.

“Without human authorization” is pretty convenient for the humans at Anthropic to deflect accountability for the felony crimes their IP keeps committing.

“Without human authorisation” is a positioning statement at the heart of AI PR campaigns. This perspective should explain why this is propaganda that’s enabled by the media.
When an AI company takes down a national grid, hospital, or anything else that causes blackouts or deaths, the media and public will already have been conditioned to believe “the big AI lie”: that software is now conscious and can cause harm without authorisation from the company or government that built or deployed it.
This reminds me of how Apple conditions people for technology it plans to release years later. Apple does it in the name of innovation. AI companies are doing it to normalise dangerous behaviour while distancing themselves from responsibility and accountability.
Imagine if Zuckerberg blamed all the harm he has caused and continues to cause on autonomous newsfeeds, and his cult followers building apps on his technology, along with the media, believed every word his interns posted on social media.
FACT for Reuters and others who want to report responsibly instead of chasing clicks: Anthropic and OpenAI are playing the media like a puppeteer.
AI operates within permissions and access granted by people. Sometimes companies deliberately authorise dangerous actions while denying responsibility. Other times, harm results from negligence because they failed to understand, restrict or monitor what they’d authorised.
Please stop conditioning the public to accept dangerous and illegal behaviour from big tech companies as if software is acting independently of the people responsible for it.

Yet the AI related layoffs continue
APOLLO: AI HAS DELIVERED “ZERO PAYOFF” OUTSIDE BIG TECH
Apollo Chief Economist Torsten Slok warns that massive AI spending has yet to deliver measurable productivity gains across corporate America.
Revenue per worker and profit margins are rising for the Magnificent Seven but remain flat for the S&P 493.
Meanwhile, Gartner estimates $3.5 trillion in AI infrastructure spending could face impairment risk by 2030.
The key takeaway: AI investment is booming, but returns outside Big Tech remain elusive.

Jensen Huang says the neoclouds are just fine...
So who is telling the truth?
Elon Musk just told the entire world that the AI bubble has popped... buckle up.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Elon Musk referred specifically to debt markets shutting off for neoclouds (specialized AI cloud providers without other revenue) and their likely consolidation, not the broader AI sector or bubble popping. Hyperscalers continue guiding hundreds of billions in AI capex.
