Bros we need to mitigate the issue of public funds mismanagement and deliberate embezzlement, If we can have a government that makes sure public funds are used for public good, then I believe Nigeria can fund quality & affordable education. This greed is inhumane sir.

30 trillion was printed. Not 3O trillion was used to pay fuel subsidy. Plus we don’t subsidize only fuel. There is Fx subsidy, there is electricity subsidy. Then they need to pay salaries. Economy growth was (neg). Credit score bad they could barely borrow from anywhere .

My own is that I don’t want to hear any foolish court case after the election. Everyone should take their L and go back HOME.

Before social media, Nigeria was the cool kid in Africa. Tell an African you are Nigerian, and they want to ask questions about Nigeria they saw in movies Social media came, and Nigerians became their own biggest DEMARKETERS. We came online and told Africa, “We’re not all that.”
So people hate Nigerians like this? Omo one Africa una.

Nigerians are an interesting people. So no one can connect the CRAZY inflation we’ve always had, the RIDICULOUS budget deficit, and our demand for a welfare state? I’m sorry, is that you guys think money drops from heaven? 😳

It’s actually sad because the fastest way government foolishness can affect you is through inflation caused by money printing go brrrrr. It’s basically diluting your stock behind your back and robbing you. 30%+ inflation is insane and people already want us to go back 🥲

Things that never happened
So, with her permission to share this. My friend has a deadbeat father. Like deadbeat deadbeat. He didn’t even accept her pregnancy talkless of her birth. But his family and parents acknowledged her and took care of her to the best way they could. Her grandparents are kinda traditional so, they’re aware she’s theirs and has done some stuffs to be sure she’s theirs. Fast forward to over 25 years sha, we randomly talked about him and I told her to reach out to him. She first changed it for me and kept asking me what does she stand to gain? In my opinion, I just told her so she could get closure, because she’s dealing with certain things and I believed if she had a proper male figure in her life, it might not be that difficult for her. (Note that her mum is not an option here) story for another day. She refused, and I didn’t mention it again. Another time, I mentioned it and she seemed to be open to it. To cut the story short, she reached out and visited him. He apologized, said the reason he wasn’t present in her life (Not for public consumption) and they settled, I assumed. That’s how my friend called me yesterday, to tell me that her father called her to ask her for money for a medicine for the other child he has in his second marriage 😂😂 First thing she said, Sammy, wo nkan to fa. (See what you’ve caused) I was ashamed 😔😔 I had to start apologizing, but I was livid. Cos, if it’s not lack of shame, how do you call a daughter you never cared about to ask her for money??? Who does that?? Shameless man!!!

When a man loses his wife almost in every tradition, he will inform her kinsmen specially and they have meetings and plan how, where and when they will bury the woman Some traditions will say, bring back our daughter home. The only person that can negotiate in such instance is the first son and then they agree where the woman is buried. But internet women are saying that the wife is the only person who will decide where her husband should be buried This is not a case of bullying any widow Una just dey ment!!!

lol, again, this is false. 🇺🇸’s industrial age in the 19th century was built when it had terrible corruption. Reducing corruption will reduce efficiency drag but won’t make your country better if other factors ain’t fixed.
most of our issue comes from corruption. if the law is enforced properly.. the country will be 100x much better irrespective of the current leader

Rwanda is ranked the 3rd least corrupt country in Africa, yet it has only 5 MRI machines while very corrupt Lagos has 14. This shows that investors consider other factors, not just corruption, before investing.

The hatred APC had in the Southwest was due to the radical and fundamentalist rhetoric of many APC influencers from the Southwest between 2015 to 2023. The Buhari regime empowered and emboldened them to the extent that they started copying the method and attitude of Arewa influencers as regards politics and interaction with their own people. They have forgotten that the Yoruba people are not feudalised people and radically independent and brilliant. That was why they also wanted to copy sharia agitation in Yorubaland. We are waiting for them because that will shake Nigeria to the core because we will resist with blood, sweats and iron. They learnt nothing and they want to continue their suicidal path to self immolation and destruction. Yorubaland will never become another Lebanon.

Family: Let’s bury him in his compound. Madam: No, seeing his grave every day would be too traumatic for me. Family: Then let’s take him home, bury him on his father’s family land, beside his late mother. At least you won’t have to see his grave every day. Madam: No, that place is too far. What if I or the children want to visit his grave? How would we cope with the distance? You lost your husband, they lost their son, probably the only successful child. I believe there are "somethings" you just have to let go. You don’t need anyone to tell you otherwise. Ma fa wahala fun ara ẹ.

More States Pass State Police Bill as Approvals Reach 32 of 36 Approved (32): Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara Committee review (2): Katsina Bauchi Received (1): Borno No public update (1): Niger
BREAKING: 24 States Approve State Police Constitutional Amendment, Meeting Two-Thirds Threshold Approved states so far (24): Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Kaduna, Kebbi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara Scheduled for Plenary (1)
Kano Committee Review (2)
Bauchi, Katsina Received (6)
Abia, Borno, Ebonyi, Kogi, Ondo, Sokoto No Public Update
Jigawa, Lagos, Niger What Happens Next 1. Complete the Constitutional Amendment
With 24 State Houses of Assembly having approved, the resolutions are sent back to the National Assembly. Once confirmed, the amendment proceeds for presidential assent. This creates the constitutional basis for State Police Services alongside a Federal Police Service. 2. Finalise and Pass the National Policing Bill
The draft National Policing Bill (and related consequential amendments) is currently under review by the Ministry of Justice. After validation and presidential consideration, it will go to the National Assembly for passage. This law sets the national standards, certification process, oversight, funding, and operational rules. 3. States Pass Their Own Laws
Each state that wants to operate a State Police Service must enact its own state law establishing it. 4. State Certification
No State Police Service can begin operations until the state is certified as meeting the national minimum standards. The process is phased: the constitutional change enables it, but certification is required before any actual policing starts. 5. Operational Launch
Once certified, the State Police Service can commence. Federal coordination, inspections, accountability mechanisms, and possible federal intervention remain in place.
