Seems you left out the bit about the hapless victim being a catholic on the end of a vicious sectarian assault. Any word from the local unionist politicians?

Can't wait to see how this all goes down in nationalist areas where support for the @PoliceServiceNI is already on notice. Dozens of elected reps from within our community being made to answer for protesting against an unwanted sectarian parade? Lol 👍
Listening to Bryson& Lockhard along with other DUP hypocrites labelling Garvaghy rd residents as a mob for wanting to live free from sectarian intimidation and supremacist coat trailing given their own actions along with those they associate with is farcical as it is pathetic

The breathtaking part is watching loyalism suddenly present itself as the lifelong guardian of the rule of law. 😂
For decades we’ve watched unlawful parades, road blockages, protests against Parades Commission rulings, demands for laws to be changed or institutions abolished when they produced the “wrong” answer , and politicians standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people openly defying restrictions.
But Michelle O’Neill speaks or acts in a way you disapprove of and suddenly it’s Magna Carta, constitutional government and solemn lectures about nobody being above the law.
By all means hold the First Minister to account. But have the integrity to apply the same standard to your own side.
Because “the law must be obeyed when it suits us, challenged when it doesn’t, and treated as sacred when nationalism is involved” isn’t a constitutional principle.
It’s hypocrisy wearing a barrister’s wig.
How did that work out at Ardoyne? Few years later they ripped up the agreement, denying it was all settled.

Jamie, are you seriously lecturing an entire community about “supremacism” and being “above the law”? It would be hilarious if the rhetoric weren’t so poisonous for Christs sake
You were convicted of possessing an extendable baton and later convicted over FOUR unnotified processions, convictions you unsuccessfully appealed.
Yet apparently Jamie has appointed himself NI’s very own Professor of Law and Order
Then we get the sermon about “hatred” from someone with an astonishing blind spot when the terrorism happens to be loyalist. You have defended the proposition that the UVF were not terrorists, characterised loyalist paramilitary violence as “counter terrorism”, and repeatedly attended a commemoration for UVF commander Robert “Squeak” Seymour.
I am sure the victims and families of UVF terroism would welcome knowing that the UVF were engaged in “counter terrorism” rather than terrorism
That’s quite the CV from which to deliver lectures on extremism.
And what exactly is this supposed “nationalist supremacism”? Nationalists having equal political power? Residents saying no? Unionism discovering that “we demand it” no longer automatically means “we get it”?
That’s not supremacy, Jamie. That’s equality
The giveaway is always the same, when unionism doesn’t get precisely what it wants, you portray compromise as surrender, equality as persecution and nationalism as some existential threat.
Perhaps the problem isn’t that “unionism must give and nationalism must get”.
Perhaps it’s that the old days when unionism could simply dictate and nationalism was expected to know its place are gone.
Nobody gets to dominate NI anymore.
And if equality feels like oppression, perhaps examine the sense of entitlement rather than screaming “supremacism” at everyone else.
A convicted lawbreaker with a remarkable penchant for sanitising the UVF preaching about the rule of law and nationalist “hatred” isn’t political analysis.
It’s self-parody.
I said at the very start that everything Bryson touched got absolutely trashed. Despite his early tears of joy down at the high court, this has been an absolute horror story for Unionism and everyone who hitched their wagon to this Temu Petrocelli, come poundshop Paisley
After 43yrs serving th public, mostly in Belfast Cent,Iv decided to retire.I'l miss a lotta colleagues/legends&th people whov put up with my impassioned critiques on local&world topics daily,my long suffering customers😄Its been a pleasure to serve you all.Thanx for the memories💚

lol rattled you Jamie. you did as I predicted and grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. Unionism all over the place trying to distance themselves from you . who is laughing now ?
Like when they enforced the law during the fleg protests as handfuls of loyalist nutjobs were able to close roads all over the place? That sort of enforcement? Or when they refuse take down loyalist paramilitary flags used to intimidate& mark territory? Sit the fck down hypocrites
Update: Police have delivered an assessment to Orangemen, that they will not be able to facilitate the march on Garvaghy Road.
The Orange Order say this is now a matter for police to enforce the law.
Police have deployed a helicopter.
The Orange Order now await further direction from police @BelTel
How did we get from a manageable scenario to adding 200 UK cops on the way to the abyss? Boucher, in giving the PC just enough crumbs to slither back down the pole to make amends for their own cock-up has been found out. The residents of Garvaghy were to be the collateral damage
John Boucher& his outreach to nationalists has just taken another nosedive.Dont be recruiting in catholic schools any time soon lad.Speaking outta both sides of your mouth is an art you seem to have mastered. Bending over backwards to appease backwoods loyalism is not a good look

Next up. Burnham appeals for calm in Brixton as 35 KKK get the go-ahead to parade through with just one burning cross
Prime Minister Andy Burnham has appealed for "calm" after the Parades Commission ruled that an Orange Order parade at Drumcree can go ahead this weekend.
He said it was a matter that had been “independently determined”.
