It’s such a no brainer cause having electricity is not that hard to have and it would serve us better to but clearly some people benefit from the lack of it.

You might think there isn't much you can do but I promise you, taking a few hours out of one day every four years to vote this evil group of old men and women out is A LOT.
Buy a few drinks. Go with your friends. Make videos. Laugh and hangout and vote them out.

APC is literally begging to not be voted back in. They’ve not given you light in days, the roads are getting worse, waste management hasn’t been resolved, street lights are off so we have to ply roads in the dark.
Why exactly are you still in bed with them?
Clearly you guys don’t understand how important Lagos is in neutralizing APC. This isn’t a joke.
"Are we not fighting APC on all fronts?"
No, Aunty Teda. I am not fighting APC on all fronts. This top-to-bottom politics is devoid of logic. That's how you guys ended up with someone like Thaddeus Attah in 2023. The rational thing to do is to treat elections on a case-by-case basis.
As far as Lagos State is concerned, Hamzat is the most competent candidate, and he will emerge victorious. 🙏
I wish you godspeed in the "fight of your life".

What’s crazy about this light thing is how every thing now has extra expenses. No light so my fiber x isn’t on, that means I have to buy data. No light, I have to buy water. How do you keep to your budget and save when useless things like this disrupt your life?

this is exactly the problem imo. you claim that this adjustment period is a necessary evil for our survival, but it’s only the citizens going through it. no cuts to the cost of governance, moving around with large convoys, unnecessary trips, independent power, bloated budgets etc
Really wonder what’s so terrible about billionaires getting taxed. Nobody needs to be a billionaire in the first place

Our political parties here are not rooted in ideology the way they are in the US. Over there, you already have a sense of the kind of laws that will come with the party in power. Here, politicians just jump from one party to another based on personal interest
The way it’s become so normal to hate women once they get the slightest amount of fame is crazy. What could there possibly be to hate about McKenna Grace
