Living by this for sure
Consistency beats talent. Every time. I used to think I needed to be the smartest guy in the room. Turns out showing up every single day and doing the unglamorous reps is the actual cheat code for certs, for coding, for anything hard.

me 30 seconds before presenting, smiling at my boss while silently mouthing to my glasses: "claude flip slide 4 to say the exact opposite. same font. make no mistakes"
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again. Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard. It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min. Pre-orders are now live at: subvocal.co/preorder?utm_sou…

It’s so weird and messed up but real talk though, for people who struggle to type or speak because of an injury or disability this could be huge.

6 days ago I said typing is underrated because it forces you to think. Now YC just funded glasses that let you skip speaking so you never type again. This is a win for people who type so slowly that they hate themselves. You silently mouth words and the glasses turn them into text at 200+ words a minute. That's a student typing the whole essay 1 second before the deadline. These guys raised $1.3M for glasses that turn you into a mime Guess we're all gonna have to learn to think critically while we talk now.

OpenAI posted a short video with no model, no date and no explanation. Am guessing they tryna hop into this trend that opus 5.5 has being dominating in video editing
There are many futures. Which do you want to build?

Looks like we might actually be running AI models from space soon 😭😭 Google has this project called Project Suncatcher where they're testing the idea of putting AI chips on solar powered satellites and using sunlight to power them. And holy shii, they've already got a prototype satellite in orbit that successfully ran Gemma 4 and sent a response back to Earth. They asked it to write a haiku about space and this is what it came up with: Blue marble below TwData streams in silent grace Starlight feeds my core.
A β€˜hello world’ milestone for Project Suncatcher πŸš€ After launching our prototype satellite a few weeks ago, we’ve now successfully sent a command up to orbit, booted up the TPU, ran the prompt, and received our first complete response back on earth - a haiku!

We identified a security incident affecting a modified Claude Code VS Code extension accessed through our Cursor IDE extension marketplace, impacting at most 5,000 users. This malicious version of the extension was not developed by Anthropic. It does not impact other extensions downloaded from the cursor.com/marketplace, Grok Bot, Grok or our other SpaceXSI products. In response, we took down our extension marketplace this afternoon, worked with relevant providers to neutralize the malware, and have reinstated the marketplace after confirming there is no further risk. If affected, please review instructions in this blog post to understand how to find the malicious package and establish a path to mitigate any potential impact. We are asking all customers update to Claude Code for VS Code version 2.1.314: cursor.com/blog/claude-code-…

Google just randomly dropped a new Gemini 4 model called Carbon out of nowhere…. This one actually looks promising
Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, it's a big jump over Argon which we released just 2 weeks ago. Gemini 4 Carbon is SOTA on cyber, long horizon tasks, ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis V5, significantly improves on usability in domains like coding, and is more aligned.

I look forward to the day Anthropic posts a success story about how Claude helped me build a successful company. I really look forward to that day. 🀞

It’s been over a month since Opus 5.5 dropped, and this is genuinely the most beautiful, breathtaking, finger licking good model this world has ever seen 😭πŸ”₯ Probably one of the most positively received models in this competitive space. Other models could barely make it a week before something new took over, but this baby? THIS BABY KICKS ASS. What a time to be alive to experience this majestic model. A rare package of frontier level intelligence. Gemini 4 Argon couldn’t even make a dent on it
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

Someone just folded the iPhone Duo 75,000+ times and it gave up πŸ’€πŸ˜ The $2,000+ foldable iPhone which launched in late October 2026, is being put through a live β€œGreat Folding Test” by Polish tech YouTuber Kuba Klawiter. Volunteers take hourly shifts folding a real retail unit by hand until it breaks or hits 1 MILLION folds. 75,000 folds was all it took for the iPhone Duo. πŸ’€

I think typing is underrated when it comes to using AI. Voice is great when you know exactly what you want and need to get it out quickly. But typing forces you to slow down, organize your thoughts, question what you’re asking, and sometimes solve the problem before AI even responds. You don’t just get better prompts. You think better. Maybe that’s part of the answer to the whole β€œAI is making us dumber” debate. Don’t just ask AI to think for you. Think with it.
I want to type faster than I talk. I know that the move now is voice, typing is legacy...blah blah blah. But I still really enjoy typing. It's just a different way to get your thoughts out. What's your favorite site/app for getting faster at typing?

Not you Thariq. If you believe in the mission, why would you have to leave?
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined. I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top. The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever. My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply. To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had. For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new. If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.
