Your mind is a garden: The conscious and subconscious minds An excellent way to get acquainted with the two functions of your mind is to look upon your own mind as a garden. You are a gardener, and you are planting seeds (thoughts) in your subconscious mind all day long, based on your habitual thinking. As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment. Begin now to sow thoughts of peace, happiness, right action, good will, and prosperity. Think quietly and with interest on these qualities and accept them fully in your conscious reasoning mind. Continue to plant these wonderful seeds (thoughts) in the garden of your mind, and you will reap a glorious harvest. Your subconscious mind may be likened to the soil which will grow all kinds of seeds, good or bad. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Every thought is, therefore, a cause, and every condition is an effect. For this reason, it is essential that you take charge of your thoughts so as to bring forth only desirable conditions.

Which yeye talk be this?!!! You're the one to tell me what's sexy? There's nothing remotely sexy about saggy boobs, absolutely nothing
And confident women know we don't need "real men" to validate any type of boobs. Firm or saggy, small or big they all sexy when they're attached to a woman who knows her worth.

The common man in Nigeria benefits nothing from this primordial reasons for choosing political leaders. Let whoever wants to emerge, do so. Just be fair to all. Besides, the so called northern political dominance is just a mirage or just imagination. If you have the South on lockdown, you don't need to win the 'North' to emerge. As it stands, Tinubu doesn't need to win the 'North' to emerge as president for the second time. If he wins SW, win at least three states in South South (get at least 30% in the rest) with at least three states in NC(Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa) get at least 40% in the rest, he's good to go. He will definitely get 25% from at least 6 states in NE&NW As it stands, he's the only candidate that has a clear path to victory in 2027. Atiku will get 25% from 19 Northern states, where would the remaining 25% of the votes in Southern states to make up the the constitutional requirement of 2/3 of states of the federation come from? Which of the states in SS? SE and SW are no go areas for him
The BAT administration may ultimately demystify Northern Nigeria’s political dominance. Through tax reforms, greater regional and local government autonomy, resource control, and eventually backing a Northern successor of his own choosing, the illusion may unravel for all to see. I almost hope he picks a Christian from the North Central. After all, if a Southern Muslim can aspire to and become president, why should a Northern Christian be any less qualified?

The terrorists waiting to unleash themselves on the people are far more than the the BH we are currently battling with. Northern Nigeria is worse than Afghanistan

Na like this BH take start. The mindset the bread Bokoharam is still very much available
I know this is inappropriate, but trust me, the original song poses no threat to anyone or any religion. It is merely a morale song. However, this guy's version is totally different from the original. He clearly crossed the line. The normal morale song goes this way: Commander: Are you guys tired? Boys: No, sir! Commander: Should I take you home? Boys: No, sir! Commander: Should I bring Giant Youth? Boys: No, sir! Commander: So we can jog? Boys: No, sir! Commander : So we can exercise? Boys: No, sir! And the song continues in that manner. However, this guy's version was completely different from the original. He went beyond the acceptable limits. To my Christian brothers and sisters, we sincerely apologise for his statements. Please disregard his remarks, as they do not represent the original meaning or purpose of the song. We will ensure that this matter is addressed with immediate effect, In Sha Allah.

No, sir. Not yet. You may not be barking at the wrong tree. You earlier asked what HDI improved under Buhari, I pointed you to clue, which is enrolment numbers in school. In the HDI, the education dimension is measured by two indicators: Expected years of schooling: How many years a child starting school today can expect to complete, based on current enrolment rates. Mean years of schooling: The average number of years of schooling already completed by adults aged 25 and older. These are combined into an education index that contributes to the overall HDI score. Under the Buhari's administration, UNDP data show modest, gradual improvement in both indicators over the period, which helped push Nigeria’s overall HDI upward (from roughly 0.52–0.53 around 2015 to about 0.55–0.56 by 2022/2023). Does this little information help?
Lol! You are calling enrolment (an input), a development index? Well, I think I am barking up the wrong tree.

If you check my comment to the post you replied to, I mentioned enrollment figures in education. That's your clue
Let's start with this. I'd wager a bet if you can name one human development index (HDI) that developed under Buhari.

I do not disagree with you , yet. But please, don't just I'm wrong without telling me how? If you said it shouldn't be A, tell me why and then propose your own, put forward your own argument
With all due respect, you have a very low threshold for societal progress. A mad man will easily impress you in the game of numbers.

You people don't know anything besides chocho-cho, spewing half truths with fanciful English He knew nothing about running a modern state, but he kept th country afloat, an average Nigerian didn't have life this terrible. Your meager income could afford you basic life needs He paid all forms of subsidiesp for 8 years. Agriculture was booming during his administration, a good number of Nigerians went into agriculture and made good income, some left their jobs for agriculture. He knew nothing about running a modern state, but led Nigeria out of recession twice and also devastating COVID 19 that grounded nation's economy for almost a year. Grants and soft loans were given to SMEs to cussion the effects of the lockdowns. Civil servants were at home, but were paid full salaries. Nigeria saw high enrollment of pupils in primary schools due to the school feeding programme by the administration. Buhari's administration paid 30k to over 500 Nigerian youth for more than four years There were conditional cash transfers to millions of poorest of the poor Nigerians. He knew nothing about running a modern state, but as of the time he took over, there were 14 LG of the federation in the hands of BH, as of the time he left, non of these LGs were controlled by BH, they were substantially degraded. There were massive infrastructure development completed across ALL the Geopolitical zones of the country. 2nd Niger bridge, Lagos Ibadan Express way, Loko bridge in Nassarawa state and many others
Replying to @ridwan_on_x
See ehn, Tinubu is worse than Buhari. Buhari was an oaf who knew nothing about running a modern state, this one knows a bit and is using his knowledge to work against the average Nigerian. He is protecting his rich friends from the masses because he knows the masses didn't vote him and have little to offer him in his quest for absolute power.

Arsenal under Arteta hardly impress me. They always make opposition teams look good, even the mid table teams

But must you use gas? What happens to firewoods and charcoal. They're close energy/heat substitute to gas. Firewood is at least 50% cheaper than gas. Charcoal is 40% cheaper. The Tinubu's reform will favour us and our families. If you vote him in again for second time, when he'll have nothing to lose again, by July 2027, everything would have doubled what it is now. Don't forget there are still some reforms he's yet to roll out. He will finish Nigeria and most Nigerians
I filled my gas this morning for N1,700 per kg. This is ridiculous.

No, you're wrong. Tinubu doesn't need the full support of the North. He only needs 30 of total vote casts from those state and the Northern politicians are available to make that happen. He already made sure Kano's votes is wasted on "Obi/Kwankwanso" if Kwankwanso wasn't on the ballot, he would have lost Kano by at least 1.5 million votes. As it stands, only Tinubu has a clear path to victory as he's certain to get 25% of total vote casts in at least 24 states of the Federation. Atiku will get 25% in 19 Northern states. But not certain how he would get 25% in South South, and South West states. The only pathway would have been an Atiku/Obi's ticket as that would have given him at least 50% vote cast in SouthEast and SouthSouth. But just as Obi was misled in 2023, he's being misled again in 2027 There's a reason Tinubu's administration is concentrating campaign funds in the North.
Sorry oooooooo but the REALITY of Nigerian politics as at today clearly shows that you CANNOT win a PRESIDENTIAL election in Nigeria without the FULL support of the North especially when you once enjoyed it Whoever told Alhaji Bola to neglect the North to the point where the ordinary people on the streets of Northern Nigeria don't even want to hear his name must have lied to him There is no coming back from this! It is too late! "The Guy is Gone" ~ Nasir Elufai

The bottom line is, no one should declare himself winner, only INEC has the authority to do so. The best way to ensure your vote count is to vote, stay and ensure the votes are counted and the winner of the polling unit announced. Send the results to your party's situation room, follow up and ensure the results uploaded on the Irev corresponds with what your party agent from each polling unit has. Make sure you come out and vote. Even if you don't have voters card, leave your comfort zone, come and line up with your preferred candidates. Ensure his vote counts. Tinubu or any party or anybody is not bigger than all of us. Come out in your numbers. If you do not have loyal party agents in every polling unit, it means you do not have the numbers in those places. Strategies win election, not just emotion, tantrums and noise. Come out on election day to vote. The best way to stop rigging is to come out in your numbers and ensure your votes count
Dear Segun Showunmi, Nigerians will count their votes. Arithmetic is not treason! 1. One of the oldest tricks of political intimidation is to frighten citizens away from their rights by presenting accountability as criminality. 2. I listened to @SegunShowunmi warning Nigerians against announcing election results before INEC, invoking the imprisonment of MKO Abiola as though we were still living under military dictatorship. 3. Dear Segun, I think it is time you stopped confusing electoral accountability with treason. 4. NO provision of the Nigerian Constitution makes counting votes, collating authentic polling unit results or checking electoral mathematics an act of treason. None. Zero. Zilch 5. The law distinguishes these legitimate activities from unlawfully declaring official winners or knowingly publishing false results. 6. And this distinction matters. 7. Every serious political party should independently collate its polling unit results, preserve signed EC8A forms and compare its figures with whatever INEC eventually announces. 8. This is what democratic accountability requires. 9. In Britain, party agents observe vote counting, scrutinise the process and independently assess electoral outcomes. 10. Nobody imagines that such scrutiny amounts to overthrowing the state. 11. Dear Segun, please stop threatening Nigerians with Abiola's ghost. 12. Abiola was imprisoned under a military regime. 13. This is a constitutional democracy, in case you have forgotten. 14. Nobody is attempting to take over INEC's responsibility to declare election winners. 15. Nigerians simply want to establish whether the figures announced reflect the votes actually cast. 16. Nigerians will count their votes. 17. Nigerians will collate their results. 18. Nigerians will check the mathematics. 19. And Nigerians will expect INEC's figures to tally. 20. Because democracy does not end when citizens cast their ballots. 21. It survives when those ballots are faithfully counted. 22. INEC has the authority to declare the results, but it does not have a monopoly on arithmetic. 23. Dear Segun, I hope you find this helpful.

If you want to be a major stakeholder in the Nigerian project, while it still remains Nigeria, you strive to be part of all of its components. It's time you stopped playing the victims at all times. Mothers from other regions are raising sons for Borno,Niger Delta, Abia, Imo, Northwest as well as other troubled spots in Nigeria. They're also fighting Bokoharam, bandits, IPOB terrorists, oil vandals, killer herdsmen, etc Igbos are in NNPC, CBN, NDIC, etc. they're equally everywhere. Only Igbos mustn't fill up those places before you recognise that they're also represented. Igbos are being employed in numerous agencies of the Federation. Always playing the victims card will not serve your in the long run If you're really tired of the Nigerian project, there's an easy way. Your can mobilise yourselves all over the east to elect those that will call for referendum and declare your own separate country. That's the constitutional way of doing it
Dear Brigadier General Dikko, our mothers did not raise their sons for Borno Dear Brigadier General Dikko, 1. You lamented that Abia State could not produce even 100 recruits for the Nigerian Army. 2. You wondered how you would explain this failure to your superiors. 3. But General, perhaps you are asking the wrong question. 4. What exactly is the Nigerian Army desperately seeking in Igbo youths that the NNPC, FIRS, EFCC, Customs and Immigration are not equally desperate to find? 5. Why must southeastern inclusion become urgent only when rifles are involved? 6. Nigeria fought a devastating war to prevent the Igbo people from leaving. 7. Perhaps Nigeria should concentrate on protecting the people it fought to retain, rather than lamenting their reluctance to become its protectors. 8. Times are changing, General. 9. A generation is emerging that understands that patriotism is not measured by willingness to die. 10. A farmer feeds civilisation. 11. A doctor preserves life. 12. An engineer builds nations. 13. An entrepreneur creates prosperity. 14. These are also forms of national service. 15. Some warn that without military recruitment today, the Southeast may have no generals in thirty years. 16. But General, perhaps in thirty years, these young people will own hospitals, industries, farms and technological empires. 17. Tinubu never became a general to command the protection of generals. 18. The military exists to protect citizens, not merely those who enlist. 19. And before you recruit another mother's son to fight insurgents in the never ending Borno war, remember that his life is not a statistic. 20. His mother cannot embrace a military medal. 21. His children cannot eat a posthumous citation. 22. If fewer than 100 youths volunteered, perhaps you should investigate why public confidence has diminished, rather than lament their absence. 23. Help these young people find other meaningful opportunities. 24. General, the Igbo youth is not a recruitment quota. His life is not expendable. 25. A generation that chooses to build rather than fight has not necessarily lost its courage. 26. Perhaps it has finally discovered the value of its future. 27. If you still need soldiers, ask Soludo, Rochas, OUK, TA Orji to send their sons.

Please stop defending this very clear breach of rules and regulations guiding award and execution of contract. For a start, there was no advertisement at all. Secondly, there was no ESIA BEFORE the contract was awarded. It was much later the ESIA was uploaded on the appropriate govt agency. But as of the time it was awarded, ESIA had not been done. On May 1, 2024, An Arise TV journalist, Laila Johnson-Salami, pressed the minister during a press conference about compliance with the 1992 EIA Act, which mandates federal environmental approval before infrastructure projects begin. David Umahi bypassed a direct clear answer about the timing of the final approval, instead joking about her accent by stating he was raised in a village and could not understand her "phonetics". He later maintained that the project had preliminary approval and everything was in order. Is preliminary approval what the law state requires? You people just want to defend anything or whatever Tinubu's administration does, no matter the rules that have been violated. It's even simple, if they had done it, we wouldn't be here with this back and forth
Like you think no EIA was done? If you truly believe a 15 trillion Naira mega-infrastructure project kicked off without an Environmental Impact Assessment, I have an airport to sell to you. You claim the government did not do an EIA, that the project was too rushed, and that this is how Landmark was destroyed. This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how civil engineering and project management work in the real world. I am not exonerating David Umahi from the blame, as many people suggest. There are valid political and administrative conversations to be had about the execution. But from a strict engineering standpoint, an EIA is not a magic document that locks a route into permanent ink. It is a dynamic risk assessment tool. In mega-projects, designs frequently change because of ongoing assessments, not in the absence of them. When theoretical alignments drawn on paper meet the physical realities of the ground, the design must adapt. As engineers conduct deeper geotechnical soil tests, update ocean surge data, and precisely map out hidden utilities like international submarine cables I mentioned in the post earlier, they must make dynamic adjustments. Value engineering dictates that if an unforeseen obstacle arises, or if the economic compensation for destroying certain assets becomes too catastrophic, the alignment is slightly diverted to save costs and avoid disaster. As for your reference to Landmark, those structures were sitting on the legally gazetted Right of Way. Enforcing a long-standing legal Right of Way is a matter of state law, not proof of a missing EIA. Construction is dynamic. An assessment guides a project; it does not freeze it in stone. It can change when the situation calls for it.

*The Estabilishement might not allow us to Rule Now, but be that as it may, on a very good day, at the appointed time, _Tinubu_ will rule Nigeria🗳🇳🇬🗳* *What I do not know, is whether I will be around when that happens. But even if am not there, (Chuba turned to Tinubu)…

This is impressive from Chief Rotimi Amaechi. But more still need to be done. There must be more intensity. If you followed Tinubu's campaign trail carefully, you'll observe that he's concentrating more in the North, particularly Northwest. More of the campaign funds will be concentrated in The North than he would in the South. His strategy is to get at least 40% of total vote casts in those states, not necessarily to win them. There won't be much money in SW as that zone is already settled for him. As it stands, just as it was in d run up to 2023 election, only Tinubu has a near clear path of securing the constitutional requirement of 25% of total vote casts in at least 2/3 of the states of the federation
Very outstanding Vice presidential candidate. Amaechi on door to door campaign. Make no mistake, na ADC you go vote .
