The future is about AI agents.
Finally, I am fully convinced about it.
I had a few boring tasks this weekend, I wish someone would do it for me. I think AI agents would do my boring tasks, and I would spend more quality time.
Basically, we will buy quality time.
DevDay in Berlin. This one felt personal. 🔥
The room was full of startup founders and engineers discussing how to push further with gpt-live, the decisions api, and the 6-series models.
I also got to present plugins: how developers can shape what ChatGPT/Codex can do, how it works, and how it looks and feels.
Really happy DevDay came to our city. It’s good for the Berlin ecosystem to get together, exchange ideas, and push each other further.
Let’s go!
Voice got an update.
It may sound small, but think twice. Your designer probably would tell you that humans do not like to read long texts and are visual creatures.
It will feel like completely new product.
Does everyone in Europe create a Delaware corp or what? How is this possible?
Some data we recently assembled on entrepreneurship/compute in Europe: eudata.vercel.app.
We hope that one of the useful roles that Stripe can play is in collecting and publishing empirical data pertaining to entrepreneurship and industry in Europe. There's growing appetite to get Europe on a better footing, and cross-sectional comparisons can often shine light on where opportunities lie. If you're interested in this kind of thing, we publish more at stripeeconomics.substack.com.
My fav time came again. Your personal Jarvis here - speak with her.
We heard you loud and clear. ChatGPT Voice can now:
- Use plugins like your email, calendar, and Slack.
- Be powered by GPT-6 Astra, Sol, and Luna.
- Be used in ChatGPT Work on web and mobile, so you can create docs, decks, sites, and spreadsheets or tackle complex tasks in the browser, just by talking.
Rolling out globally today in the latest version of the app.

For over a decade, I've kept a book of quotes. So I'm publishing a series based on the ones that have changed my life
The first is on why if you want to make huge impact, you should focus on the small scale
Because Small Sparks cause fires too ✨

I should have some credits for this.
Sol via est; astra meta
yes, nonsofic groups exist: this statement is one of many new beautiful results proved by Astra, our next major model.
We're releasing 10 such Astra proofs, complete with lean certificates and CoT walkthroughs for each of them. The results are wide-ranging, from von Neumann algebras (disproof of Connes' Rigidity Conjecture) to better bounds for high dimensional sphere packing, for circuit complexity, for monochromatic triangles in multicolored graphs, and more.

Voice will be the default - I said it before!
ChatGPT Voice is now in the desktop app.
Control your computer and direct multiple agents running in ChatGPT Work or Codex, using just your voice.
It's powered by GPT-Live, so it can speak, listen, and coordinate work in the app at the same time.
Rolling out globally today on macOS and Windows to Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise plans.
In codex I am addicted to Sol, but don’t underestimate Terra for large scale agentic work - the intelligence/cost ratio is brilliant
Replying to @OpenAI
Sol is our new flagship and a step function better than GPT-5.5.
Terra delivers performance competitive to GPT-5.5 at 2x lower cost.
Luna is our most cost-efficient model, delivering strong capability at our lowest cost.
Together, the GPT-5.6 family gives people and developers more choice in how they balance intelligence, speed, and cost.
I use codex literally for every task. I really wish it existed in this form when I was an entrepreneur!
Work at OpenAI is being transformed by agents, in every department.
Across our entire company, people are using Codex to do work that is more complex, longer-running, and increasingly cross-functional.
Our internal usage offers an early look at how agentic tools may reshape work as they become more capable and broadly available.
