#Bitcoin does not consume as much power as a small county. Far from. Take Germany, it consume about 500 TWh per year in electricity, but also consume about 15,000 peta joule of different fuels, which is about 4200 TWh.
Combined it's about 4700 TWh. Bitcoin consume 2% of Germany.
