Today’s AI depends on millions of global workers in India, Asia + Latin America labelling data, helping to fine tune error prone models. As it’s always been, it’s growth and wealth from low paid labour all to maximise accumulation of capital. Tech innovation is the side story.

We need public investment in green sector to 'drive innovation', reduce climate change and enable growth. (btw, AI is not a sustainable tech. It's led by a sector focused on corporate expansion and profit, and willing to use more energy to achieve these.)
