AOC didn't tweet a thing on Oct. 7.
She didn't tweet a thing on Oct. 8.
She didn't tweet a thing on Oct. 9.
On Oct. 10, she was finally moved to tweet. She saw footage of 5 or 6 extremist American Jews saying terrible, extreme things. And she needed the world to know.

I promise soldiers getting a rare decent meal is not the DoD waste you’re looking for.
I grow my own tomatoes because grocery store tomatoes taste like disappointment. I grow my own herbs because $1.49 of seed translates into months of homemade pesto. Etc.

It’s like sewing your own clothes or growing your own food. It’s performative, not a way to exist in the modern world. I doubt even the Amish use things like this. Completely performative.
I’ve been happily married for 21 years, three kids. Didn’t need to be a “pick me” to find a good man I love more every day. If you need to throw other women under the bus to get a man, that doesn’t speak well of the man you are getting.
This is me except I keep my findings do myself.
My kid’s petsitting business now includes limited dog boarding and I will now die for this beautiful girl in particular

A big applause as Estonian PM @kajakallas addresses the #NAFOSummit (as surely the first PM to officially use the word “based”).
She sent her video greeting, explaining that she is unable to be there in person (or ‘in fella’) as she is preparing for the NATO summit.
The aggressor must be defeated on the battlefield, Kallas explains, but Russia is also waging an information war and so democracies need to take steps to defend both themselves and a world where rules still apply, and where technology works for, not against, democratic societies.
Kallas says that behind every fella is a real person volunteering their time and energy to fight russian disinformation and bad takes with good humour, intelligence and enthusiasm. She thanks them for their contribution to the security of Ukraine, as well as Estonia and the Baltic Sea region.
“Keep fighting the good fight,” says Kallas. “Because NAFO expansion is non-negotiable and Ukraine will win.”

Sorry that this has to be said (and vaguely, since it involves a colleague) but the claim that 1st century Jews didn't care for the vulnerable exists primarily in (Christian) academic circles where unfamiliarity with the actual texts that Jews wrote at this time is tolerated 1/3
