The problem is that public debates often drift toward extremes. Media, social media, and activist groups amplify the loudest, most polarized voices.
they respect the fact that dogs are not moral agents, and that responsibility for their behavior rests on owners, training, and context.
Likewise, they can acknowledge that while some dogs may pose risks, *the solution isn’t “ban all dogs” or “kill problem breeds”
But most people actually live in that large middle space. They see dogs as animals with their own needs, instincts, and limits. They might love their pets, but they don’t confuse them with humans..
On the other extreme, you get people who view dogs as disposable, dangerous, or inherently inferior sometimes even advocating for killing them outright if they become inconvenient.
