Delighted to share our paper describing a way to read levels of 100s of metabolites or drugs in parallel using DNA sequencing. This method which we call ‘smol-seq’ (Small MOLecule sequencing) harnesses the power of DNA sequencing for metabolite detection

Finally - we are now hiring multiple positions to bring this tech to reality. If you have aptamer experience or are a compbio person excited to learn how to predict aptamer-target interactions, please DM me!

Paying $13M for the repairs necessary to keep the Ontario Science Centre open through to 2034 would have been the equivalent of reducing the $200 pre-election handout cheques to $199.19.

There’s a lot of lies about what is happening in UK right now, many spouted by that evil imp Musk. Well THIS is what is happening: 1000s of ordinary people marching against the tiny minority of fascists that have been terrorizing the country. THIS makes me proud of the uk 👏

It describes a large screen of natural products which finds a new family of species selective complex I inhibitors that have potential as new anthelmintics
The results we report are just the first of a series of hits from this screen -
we hope some of these will ultimately be new anti-parasitic drugs. It’s daunting to be trying to address such a massive global health problem but collaboration is always key!
