Morning 🤍 Touched a Tory nerve? Marvellous 👍🏼 Telegraph with 2nd poorly written piece in 24 hrs from an obsessed GB News presenter called Camilla 🤷🏼‍♀️ Excellent... it's given me an idea 🙋🏼‍♀️ RT TACTICAL VOTING WEBSITE Stopthetories.vote (sign up NOW) When we go live for GE, we'll upload intense scrutiny of all Tory MPs, their voting, their scandals, their specific links to PPE, the activities of their businesses, the activities of those they've received donations from, their second jobs, their U turns and so much more. Then voters can see them 👀 through facts, and make their own minds up. Can't wait 👍🏼 All ideas welcome 🤍

Imagine if a doctor behaved in the manner set out in this letter👇🚨
Nadine Dorries' local town council writes to her to raise their "concerns and frustration" at the "continuing lack of representation for the people of Mid-Bedfordshire at Westminster". They demand she "immediately vacate" her seat and allow someone else to represent the area.

Are you the same guy who dropped his house building targets? Because I’m the guy who started building more council homes than the rest of England combined, exceeded your affordable homes targets & built more homes of any kind than since the 1930s. This is desperate nonsense.
Labour’s Sadiq Khan has failed to deliver the homes London needs, driving up prices and making it harder for families to get on the housing ladder. So I’m stepping in to boost house building and make home ownership a reality again for Londoners. standard.co.uk/news/politics…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Under Sadiq Khan were more new homes completed per year than under any previous Mayor of London. london.gov.uk/more-new-homes…

"If they shut down the ticket offices all over the country, it'd be horrendous." As big rail companies try to get rid of ticket offices, Ruber Reuter speaks to people with disabilities to find out how the move could affect their daily travel.

Rishi Sunak has quietly slipped out new rules raising the amount individuals can secretly donate to political parties by 50%. Party campaign spending limits have also been raised. Meanwhile the cap on trade union spending during elections has been frozen. bylinetimes.com/2023/07/25/m…

Flagship Brexit trade deal with Pacific has ‘no major economic gains for UK’…. Hard to know who to believe … the dreaded experts who have studied these issues for decades? Or a gaslighting govt and media cheerleaders trilling about £12trillion deal? independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

This is disinformation. A Muslim buying a house pays the same amount of stamp duty as anyone else. Islamic financing changes the way the stamp duty is paid, but the same amount is paid, and the customer still pays it. Quick thread:

Rishi Sunak is holding drinks at Downing Street tonight for "select" political journalists. Under previous Prime Ministers these events were open to all accredited journalists, whether they worked for 'friendly' publications, or not. Not under Sunak

"Renault and Aston Martin backer Geely to launch UK firm injecting £6bn and creating 19,000 jobs" Gosh, doesn't that sound great? Tory MPs and the RW press have been feasting on the story. Pity it's not true. Let's take this step by step... 1/12 cityam.com/renault-and-aston…

ACCURACY PLEASE This would be good news, except the detail doesn't appear to back up the tweet. Renault press release says "The initial organization will have two operational centers: Madrid for Renault & Hangzhou Bay (China) for Geely (Chinese firm).  An executive team will be based in the HQ of the new company, which is intended to be established in the U.K." So up to 19,000 jobs spread across 3 continents, while considering the HQ office in the UK, and not a £6bn investment in this country? I may be wrong. Could you please clarify @LiamFox as I'm sure you wouldn't want to give people false hope? Specifically how many jobs and how much investment will there be in the possible HQ office & the possible factories in the UK?
