India's approach here is so timid in so many ways. I know this team carried the Surya-the batter in the last leg of his career but I really miss that fearlessness to experiment under him.
And here we are- bowling first and keeping a generational talent on bench in a dead rubber.

27 years ago, he filmed "Professor Xavier" in X-men
He began losing his hair at 17, took a bricklaying job to pay for treatments that failed, and was fully bald by 19.
Initially turned X-Men down, thinking it was too close to Picard, until Bryan Singer explained the film would explore the rights of people who are different.
Only signed on after hearing that Xavier believed in peaceful coexistence and dialogue rather than force.
When he asked why Xavier was in a wheelchair, Singer gave a simple answer. He said the comic-book origin (an alien dropping a rock on him) made Stewart prefer the director’s version.
Making Logan was deeply emotional for him, a fond farewell to the character he had played for nearly two decades.
At the Logan premiere, after Xavier’s death, he noticed Hugh Jackman wiping away a tear and simply took his hand. They held hands until the credits ended.
In real life he was Chancellor of the University of Huddersfield (2004–2015) and Professor of Performing Arts. The role helped lure him back to Yorkshire from Hollywood, and he was hands-on, leading graduation processions and giving masterclasses.

A lot of people didn't know that Professor was also an actual professor in real-life as well.
He was a mastermind that impacted students both in X-men and in England

Random trivia - In DD's first ever IPL match (vs RR), the umpires had to change their shirt after the first 6 overs of the game because apparently their kit was confusing the RR batters as they also wore the red and black that DD players did. Must have miffed Kingfisher though

It is difficult to think a nuanced thought with a blunt language.

You’ll never find a rapist or an abuser getting ruthlessly harassed and ostracised but an MMS leak can destroy lives of consenting couples.
Just a living proof that society hates consensual sex more than they hate rapists and pedophiles.
Kulhad Pizza couple, whose private MMS went viral, now he is begging everyone not to troll him and his wife if he dies, as doctors have indicated that he may have a brain tumour.
Just one mistake, and this couple’s entire life was ruined, they left the country but the trolling still refuses to leave them alone, fame and money haven’t brought them peace either.
Never record your intimate moments, once they leak, internet can make you pay for them for the rest of your life.

Planting new trees doesn’t magically undo the destruction of an entire ecosystem. You cannot replace centuries of biodiversity with a few saplings. Companies that destroy our natural resources should face severe penalties, including permanent closure when warranted. We’ve reached a point where protecting the planet is treated as optional, and that needs to change.

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared.
Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.
