if ant wants to crush openai: add a good goal mode, fix your message queueing system, stop refusing benign shit, get better at hard technical optimization stuff, make your remote app experience better bc it sucks, also gimme more usage per dollar

Nearly every phone and computer on Earth relies on one plain-text file to know what time it is. When a country changes its clocks with a few weeks’ notice, or Morocco pauses daylight saving for Ramadan, someone has to update that file. Since 02005, that someone has been Paul Eggert, a computer science professor at UCLA, who does it as a volunteer.  Take a look at this great data visualization to see the full story:  na2.hubs.ly/H08qtQC0

Introducing ChatGPT for Dishwashing GPT-6 achieves state-of-the-art results on dishwashing benchmarks for long-running jobs and difficult stains. The Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize Problem is a $1 million challenge about whether the equations describing fluid motion can break down. In this video, I accidentally found a counter-example while trying to optimize my dishwasher. But in reality, OpenAI used 10,000 AI agents to find a proof in 88 hours: openai.com/index/navier-stok… Parody of the original GPT-6 Astra ad @OpenAI #ChatGPT_Partner #chatgpt Credits: Written and Directed by Joma Co-Writer - Henry Connor Coan IV @coan_henry Production by Dauntlus Studios @dauntlus.studios Producer/Co-Director - Marcus Liew @dauntlus Camera Operator - Amos Lee @amoselijahlee Art Director - Alethea Soo @aletheasoo Art Assistant - Alicia Lim @aliciatkl_ Assistant Editor - GPT-6 Astra Music: Tensions Run High by Soundridemusic youtube.com/watch?v=Ly9H63SL…

Codex 🤝 Tailscale Codex Cloud can now securely connect to resources on your tailnet with Tailscale. Useful tools should be easy to build with, combine, and turn into something even more useful. See how it works → buff.ly/yFcldrC

We launched our all-new Codex Cloud at DevDay. You can now create reusable environments, and it means you can always have online hosts regardless of whether your laptop is closed or not! I've been using it a ton lately. Internally we called the launch: Freedom day!

Codex remote is so good, after trying Claude Code and Cursor neither is as easy to use remotely as Codex Why is it so hard to just connect a computer and see all your active threads? As you can see here my PC is connected to Claude Code remotely, but the thread I have running isn't showing up

maybe I’ll drop a quick article on codex cloud and cloud environments. I feel like OpenAI didn’t really sell this well, and it’s lowk the best feature from devday

I thought codex remote is actually a lot more reliable than Claude remote. Access to all threads vs Claude randomly archiving sessions and make you rerunning remote command. One of the few things codex is doing better than Claude code.

Yo check out the new Codex Cloud It’s actually good now ™️
You can finally close your laptop now and your agents will keep working. Codex cloud environments are here. Reusable environments mean less setup and faster starts, with your repo, dependencies, scripts, and settings already in place.

Launching a new Codex Cloud, much improved from last year. With configurable cloud environments, it’s impossible to go back to building on your laptop once you’ve taken the time to configure it. Agents API, the same tech powering all our cloud agents, including dots, is also now in preview and supports computer use. It allows you to build the same incredible products we are making available today.
