I’m excited to introduce Clark, the first AI Agent to build internal enterprise apps. We’ve raised $60M, including a fresh $23M from @sparkcapital @kleinerperkins, @MeritechCapital and Greenoaks. Unlike consumer vibe coding tools like Lovable, Replit and Bolt that only generate prototypes, Clark builds production-ready internal apps — enforcing your enterprise standards: 🧩 UIs generated using your design system 🔌 Integrations with private APIs, databases and SaaS apps 🔐 Permissions mapped to @okta & @azuread groups 🛡️ Security with audit logging, secrets management, and vulnerability scans Clark is designed to operate exactly like a human internal tools team. It's built on a state-of-the-art multi-agent architecture, emulating your Designer, IT admin, Engineer, Security Operations, and QA employees. When Clark generates an application, you can modify it in 3 ways: 1. Natural language - talk to Clark 2. Visual – Edit it like in Figma 3. Code – Use your IDE like Cursor or VSCode Global enterprises in regulated industries like @Instacart (CART), @carrier (CARR), and @cvent (Blackstone) already run their mission-critical apps on our platform. Our customers save $5m on average. Book a demo and we'll save you $5m too. And we're so confident that if we can't, we'll donate $5,000 to a charity of your choice: Book a Demo – superblocks.com/clark --------- As part of this launch, we’re giving away the system prompts of leading AI products like Cursor, Manus, and Codex. These 6,000 line system prompts have enabled them to become billion-dollar companies on top of foundation models. Retweet this post and comment ‘Superblocks’ below, and we'll send you the link so you can engineer world class prompts yourself. 👇 See Clark in action in the thread below

The only language where I believe it is possible right now is TypeScript. No other type system comes close to its possibilities. Drizzle can only exist because TypeScript's type system is so unbelievably advanced compared to other languages.

Dear Angel investor friends: I get that it can be frustrating when your startup investments don’t work out, but please refrain from sending emails to founders calling them a failure — especially when they’ve been pouring blood sweat and tears into a business for years. You’re out a small chunk of money; what do you think that founder is out? This happens to founders all the time, and it’s ridiculous. Be better.

I agree completely and one of the reasons we don’t currently have product managers at @RewindAI This is hard for me to admit as a former Product Manager at Google and co-founder of @Optimizely, an A/B testing tool.
At @linear we optimize for solving customers problems & craft – not A/B tests, internal frameworks/OKRs. To optimize for craft, give the builders control. To solve customer problems well, try to make the whole team have customer understanding. Then combine these for the magic

When I meet founders from India, I realize how good founders have it in the US. The Indian VCs are too risk averse & push founders into chasing the “formulaic” industries instead of trying risky new arenas. It really sucks for founders trying to build products in untested waters.

With all the Unity madness, I am thinking about how the Java ecosystem misses a huge opportunity rn. Game engines like Godot would work well on the JVM, even simplifying platform independence. Compiling native images can fix most of the warmup and footprint concerns of the past.

Last week I said that I was confident most online cap tables are wrong. After we released this, we found thousands of errors in companies that used to use Carta. Example: SAFE was recorded in Carta incorrectly & the investor was issued fewer shares than they should have.
AngelList’s Tie Out detects material cap table errors from legacy cap table providers every day Most companies have given too much or too little equity to their holders If your cap table doesn't have auto tie outs, you're taking on material risk Ofc, we bundle w Cap Tables

Very interesting and timely article by @GreylockVC The crux of the article is quite nuanced - GenAI doesn't just leverage proprietary data...it actually causes startups to *acquire* proprietary data. I'm quite not sure why they didn't put this as the overarching theme. I think the examples all have the "GenAI leads to unique data acquiring" theme. Whether it be through product, UX, scalability, etc. My point still stands though - the build vs buy will change. Cos there's no reason why enterprises will not choose to build this SAAS themselves (using GPT6). greylock.com/greymatter/seth…
The most common question i hear investors ask is "What is a moat - when everything is a wrapper on OpenAI" That is the wrong question. What u should be asking is - "What is the future of *any* SAAS when GPT6 makes it dead easy to build s/w ?" Where does the value lie?

@fikavc did this to us. @NexusVP employed an EIR that was (at the same time) our advisor through Forum Ventures. This EIR used that inside info + Nexus resources to rip off our game plan and build a competitor.

A common negotiating tactic of seed investors is to convince YC founders their fundraising strategy / price is incorrect and their advisors are not worth listening to.

As happens every single YC batch, investors complain that the valuations are too high, and the startups raise anyway.

We should all celebrate Carolynn Levy, who lead's YC's legal team and invented the SAFE. Thousands of startups (including mine) have been directly or indirectly helped by CLevy! teapawt.net/paulg/status/159324216…
Carolynn Levy, who invented the SAFE, may be the most influential person in Silicon Valley you've never heard of. She rarely talks to reporters. But no one in the world understands startup law better. meridian.mercury.com/carolyn…

The Java ecosystem is now in much better shape than the Java ecosystem 10 years ago. I used different languages (go, python, c#) each 3-6 years, and quite happy moving back to Java again.
Time to let go of the belief that #Java isn't a great option for building snappy CLI apps. Instant start-up--thanks to #GraalVM native binaries--allows for usage even during tab completion: in the example, #kcctl retrieves the connector name via REST without any noticeable delay.

Talked to some of the startups in the current YC batch. There are a huge number of AI startups, but not one I talked to seemed bogus. There are that many legit opportunities in AI.
