honestly never thought these words could exist in the same sentence but here we are 80 founders, engineers and operators are living inside Slane Castle in Ireland right now. Not visiting, not touring, actually living there. Sleeping in rooms and yurts on the estate, working out of a red and gold 18th century ballroom that's hosted royalty and rockstars, now running on laptops and Solana instead of chandeliers and orchestras. this is CastleDAO. a two week builder residency by @superteamie, backed by names like Jito, Fidelity's FCAT, and Solana Mobile. it wasn't ticket based, it was for the ones who earned their spot by applying with what they were building, and if it stood out, they got a seat in that room for two weeks. it ends on September 6th with a live Demo Day, where everyone in that castle stands up and shows what they actually shipped in two weeks. a castle that watched empires and concerts is now watching commits 🧑‍💻 keeping an eye on @cstldao for what comes out of that room!

An option premium isn’t just one number 🧩 It’s made up of two parts: 1. Intrinsic value What the option would be worth if exercised right now. 2. Time value The extra value you’re paying for the possibility of the option becoming more valuable before expiry. And as expiry gets closer, that time value generally fades. So when you see an option priced at $X, don’t just ask: “How much does it cost?” Ask: “What am I actually paying for?” 👀 Because the price is just the number. The premium tells the story. #LearnKaroCryptoKaro – at Navi Mumbai, India

Ever wondered why an option can lose value even when BTC barely moves? 👀 It’s called time decay. ⏳ Every option has an expiry. As that expiry gets closer, there’s less time for the trade to move in your favor. So, all else equal: More time → more opportunity Less time → less opportunity That’s why an option isn't just a bet on where BTC goes. It’s also a bet on when it gets there. 🎯 In options, timing matters. #LearnKaroCryptoKaro – at Navi Mumbai, India

Why does one BTC option cost more than another? 👀 I came across two BTC Call options on @CoinDCX that make this surprisingly easy to understand. At the time: BTC ≈ 79,262 USDT Expiry: 29 Aug Two Calls: → 79,000 Call → Mark Price: 707.43 USDT → 80,000 Call → Mark Price: 287.43 USDT Same BTC. Same expiry. So why is one worth 420 USDT more? 🤔 1. Where is the strike? The 79,000 Call has a strike below BTC's current price. That means it's already in the money. The 80,000 Call, however, is currently out of the money — BTC needs to move above 80,000 for it to have intrinsic value at expiry. So the 79,000 Call has a more favourable position right now, which contributes to its higher premium. 2. How much time is left? Here's an interesting part: Both options expire on the same date. So time isn't the reason these two premiums differ from each other but time still matters to option pricing. Give BTC more time and there's more opportunity for it to make a large enough move for an option to become valuable. Less time = less opportunity. 3. How much movement is expected? This is where volatility comes in. If BTC is expected to make larger moves, there's a greater chance an option can move into a valuable position. That extra possibility can increase the premium. So what is the premium actually telling us? When you see 707.43 USDT versus 287.43 USDT on CoinDCX, don't just think: “One option is expensive.” Think: → What opportunity am I paying for? → Where is the strike relative to BTC? → How much time is left? → How much movement is the market pricing in? The premium is essentially the market's price for the opportunity, time and expected movement attached to that option. Next time you open the BTC options chain on CoinDCX, don't just look at the premium. Ask what that premium is telling you. 👀 #LearnKaroCryptoKaro – at Navi Mumbai, India

. @WalletConnect Pay is wanted in India 🇮🇳 I went to @AvenueDmart today for my daily essentials run. for context DMart has 500+ stores across India and is honestly one of the most visited retail chains in the country. They're running @Ingenico terminals at checkout, the same network that has 40M+ payment terminals worldwide. I spoke with the store manager & staff about crypto payments and they were pretty straightforward about it — "if it's easy and fast, we'll definitely try it." The infrastructure is already there and with @Ingenico already partnering with @WalletConnect, that integration might be closer than we think 👀

This GPT Image 2 prompt is going insanely viral right now. “Redraw the attached image in the most clumsy, scribbly, and utterly pathetic way possible. Use a white background, and make it look like it was drawn in MS Paint with a mouse. It should be vaguely similar but also not really, kind of matching but also off in a confusing, awkward way, with that low-quality pixel-by-pixel feel that really emphasizes how ridiculously bad it is. Actually, you know what, whatever, just draw it however you want.”

Every crosschain message consist of 2 fundamental parts: input data and execution proof. Both must be verified to have a secure crosschain message. Correct input data (from a decentralized base layer consensus protocol) into a faulty execution proof (like a compromised full node) is no good. Incorrect input data (like a sequencer confirmation) into a correct proof system (a perfect, bug-free ZKP) is no good either. You need both and you need to verify both for every crosschain message. 1. Block confirmation depth from L2 sequencers does not give added security against a malicious sequencer. Blocks can be reorged by the sequencer any time before they land on their base layer. 2. Verifying the merkle root of block events is not sufficient. A valid, but incorrect event merkle tree can be constructed from malicious input data. (Though arguably performing this attack is more involved than faking an eth_getLogs call) 3. Synchronous composability is perpendicular. You could have a synchronously composable protocol with weak confirmations and a weak proof system, making it prone to forged crosschain messages. TEEs often get a poor reputation, and they are not perfect, but an RPC running in a TEE that also verified a decentralized block confirmation inside the enclave would seem to have prevented this particular unfortunate incident. Even better, a multisig of TEEs, where each TEE is enforced to be in a different location, cloud provider, and TEE provider could have provided arguably much stronger security for comparable offchain and onchain costs (you verify the TEE attestation once at registration time, then use an ephemeral key onwards which is cheap to verify onchain). The exact RPC binary code would have been attested to onchain, preventing malicious code injection. The end goal is a real-time multi-proof system of both TEEs and ZKPs + a real-time trust-minimized confirmation system. Until ZKPs can match TEEs on cost and latency, we can use TEE proofs up to certain notional thresholds to limit the exposure until a ZKP can be generated.
