I'm tired of pretending this is fine.
I pay full tax. Full school fees. Full hospital bills. Full EMI, every month, on time. No subsidy comes down to me. No loophole exists up where I am. I'm stuck in the exact middle where nothing reaches.
The poor get support fair, they need it. The rich get write-offs, exemptions, structures I don't even understand how to access. And Me? I get a salary slip, a TDS deduction, and a "thank you for your contribution to nation building note"
I'm too well-off to qualify for anything. Too stretched to actually build anything. One medical emergency, one job loss, and this entire middle-class stability collapses like it was never real to begin with.
And I've finally understood why nobody fixes this: I'm the most reliable taxpayer this country has, and the least organized voter. I don't protest. I don't strike. I just pay, quietly, every single month so nobody in power has a reason to protect me.
So here's where I've landed. Nobody's coming to save the middle class. Save yourself, plan for yourself, protect what's yours because the system was never built to do it for you.
I'm not angry anymore. Just done expecting anything different.

When the State Bank of India and LIC are ordered to enforce emergency austerity and slash basic operational costs, the facade of a robust economy officially shatters.
This isn't just routine budgeting, it’s a desperate attempt at damage control for an unravelling economy under intense macroeconomic pressure.
Years of absolute policy failure, a tanking rupee, and a complete lack of long-term structural planning have left our top financial institutions dangerously exposed to global headwinds.
The government spent a decade prioritizing PR and headline management over building an actual economic cushion. Now, millions of ordinary citizens, depositors, and public sector employees are about to bear the brunt of this sheer policy incompetence.
The cracks are too wide to hide. The entire nation is about to pay the price for years of systematic economic mismanagement. Brace yourselves.
India's finance ministry directed state-run banks, insurers and financial institutions to implement cost-cutting measures, including sharp curbs on travel and a phased transition to electric vehicles, according to an order reviewed by Reuters reut.rs/4tG59y4

This new e-challan scam in India via SMS is smart. They do not wait for you to enter details and press a button.
As you add your details, it keeps storing it on the backend.
Even if you realise midway that this is a scam and close the website, you are already compromised.

Who says Indians are not innovative? Look at the sophistication of this scam 😱 I almost entered my card details before googling the domain. Insane amount of fraud must be happening with so many people. By the time police starts acting on it, they’d make millions! Terrible 😠

We think that all memory is stored in the brain. But our study published today in @NatureComms shows that all cells—even kidney cells—can count, detect patterns, store memories, and do so similarly to brain cells. My first (co)corresponding author paper!🧵nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

Excited to share our recent work on carbonyl assisted migratory allylation of 1,2-ketoimines in @angew_chem . Applied towards several enantiopure amino-ketones, Hapalindole terpenoids. Kudos to @GANESHKARAN16 & Abhishek & mentorship of @modhumaji @IITKgp
Ever wondered how an allyl migration could be the key to the formation of diastereoselective quaternary centres? A simple keto sulfinylimine paired with an allylboronic acid can bring out the magic...Explore our latest work
