Remember the child actor who played young Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar? He later became a superhero on television. But his biggest career transformation happened away from the camera. Sumeet Pathak played young Ajay Malhotra in Baazigar (1993). He went on to appear in films like Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Then came a role an entire generation of children would remember. Between 2005 and 2007, he played Joy Sehgal, the superhero in Hungama TV’s Hero – Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai. But Sumeet eventually moved away from acting and entered the business side of entertainment. Along with his wife, Shweta Pathak, he co-founded “Gulmohar Media”, a company that began with language localisation and expanded into post-production and content creation. Today, it operates studios across six Indian cities. One of its notable projects was the multilingual localisation of Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate. Recent projects associated with the company include Drishyam: The Conclusion, Haiwaan and The Last Man in Tower. It has also been part of Angh, a Konyak-language film that won the Platform Prize at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. 🏆 ✨

Ranbir Kapoor once received a hard slap from his father, Rishi Kapoor. He said he was around eight or nine years old when it happened. It was Diwali. Along with celebrations, puja was organized. 🪔 Rishi Kapoor was deeply religious, and Ranbir had made this one mistake: He walked into the temple wearing slippers. Recalling the moment, Ranbir said: "Mujhe ek hi baar bohot zor ki padi thi!" He added that his father hit him so hard that he remembered it even years later. Ranbir also revealed that his mother Neetu was stricter in her own way. She once hit him with a hanger while disciplining him. A childhood memory that offers a glimpse into the Kapoor family's life away from the cameras. 📸
