I am deeply concerned by reports of Northern Rail fining and prosecuting passengers for innocent mistakes when using their railcard at peak times.
I have written to their Managing Director to relay my concerns regarding this practice.

No one should have to spend so much time wading through piles of admin, especially when they're grieving.
Companies must do more to support terminally ill & bereaved customers.
โ๏ธ Sign our petition and help us tell companies to #MakeSadminSimple.

How I loved that book. I still have the tie-in version from the Julian Temple film from the 80s.

This sentence is obscene. Why are we punishing the people trying to prevent disaster while allowing the oil company giants causing it to reap super profits?

Just so different, so different !๐ from the last 10 yrs of endless lies about Europe, calling its leaders "foes", jingoistic one-upmanship, scapegoating the UK's problems on it and its "foreign" courts, making trade and travel as hard as possible
A new start, Dieu merci ๐ฌ๐ง๐ซ๐ท๐ช๐บ

Asking the current crop of political journalists to do thought pieces about the Lib Demโs is hugely optimistic, when they can dial it in talking about Reform.

Iโm stunned. I really mean that.
Rishi Sunak has, since his loss, transformed into an eloquent, measured, witty, gracious, sombre statesman who is truly interesting to listen toโฆ attentively.
Where was this man before? Iโm asking in all seriousness.
Thatโs absolutely shocking ๐ณ
