🚨CJP Faces Legal Heat as Saurav Das Identity Plea and ₹50 Crore Protest Compensation Claim Reach High Courts
The legal pressure surrounding the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is widening, with two separate matters now drawing the attention of the courts.
In the Madras High Court, a PIL filed by R Ganesh Kumar has sought a detailed investigation into the identity, nationality and background of CJP spokesperson and journalist Saurav Das, including details concerning his parents. The plea, which identifies him as Yogesh Sharma alias Saurav Das, alleges that questions surrounding his background require official verification. It also seeks cancellation of his passport and Aadhaar card if an inquiry establishes that he is not an Indian citizen, along with action concerning his X and Instagram accounts over alleged remarks against the judiciary.
The Madras High Court has issued notices to Das and the concerned Union government authorities, with the matter listed for further consideration after six weeks. Importantly, the court has not made any finding on the allegations; they remain claims contained in the petition.
The CJP is facing another legal challenge in Delhi, this time over the disruption allegedly caused by its protests. A PIL filed by advocate Rakesh Kumar Saini sought ₹50 crore in interim compensation, arguing that the demonstrations had caused inconvenience and hardship to ordinary Delhi residents, including traders, commuters, office-goers and schoolchildren. The petition also raised concerns about the impact on businesses during the festive season.
The Delhi High Court, however, did not decide the merits of the compensation claim. The bench noted that similar matters concerning the protests were already pending before the Supreme Court and granted the petitioner liberty to approach the apex court instead.

पटेल के निधन के बाद उनके बेटा-बेटी का क्या हुआ ? कांग्रेस में उन्हें उपेक्षित क्यो किया
सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल को एक बेटा और एक बेटी थीं. दोनों सांसद बने, लेकिन कांग्रेस में उनकी जगह बस यहीं तक थी.
15 दिसंबर 1950 को सुबह 09.37 बजे मुंबई के बिरला हाउस में सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को लंबी बीमारी के बाद दिल का जबरदस्त दौरा पड़ा, जिससे उनका निधन हो गया. उनके निधन के बाद भारतीय राजनीति में उनके परिवार यानी बेटे और बेटी का प्रभामंडल कम होता चला गया. उन्हें वो महत्व नहीं मिल पाया, जो मिलना चाहिए था.
ऐसा नहीं है कि पटेल का परिवार राजनीति में सक्रिय नहीं था, बल्कि कहना चाहिए कि खासा सक्रिय था. उनके बड़े बेटे डाहयाभाई पटेल मुंबई में कांग्रेस के अग्रणी नेताओं में थे. वहीं बेटी मनिबेन पटेल अच्छे संपर्कों वाली सक्षम राजनीतिज्ञ थीं. ये कहा जा सकता है कि नेहरू परिवार ने वल्लभ भाई पटेल के बेटे और बेटी को सांसद तो बनाए रखा, लेकिन वो महत्व नहीं दिया, जिसके वो हकदार थे.
ये कहना भी सही नहीं होगा कि उन्होंने अपने पिता के नाम को भुनाने की कोशिश नहीं की. दोनों जब तक राजनीति में रहे, उनकी पहचान सरदार पटेल के ही नाम पर थी. सत्तर के दशक में पटेल के बेटा और बेटी दोनों का कांग्रेस से मोहभंग हो गया. उनका मानना था कि कांग्रेस को नेहरू परिवार ने हड़प लिया है. पटेल की बेटी मनिबेन पटेल ज्यादा प्रखर और सक्रिय थीं. बेहद ईमानदार.आजीवन अविवाहित रहीं. वर्ष 1988 में उनक निधन हुआ
मनिबेन के बारे में अमूल के संस्थापक कूरियन वर्गीज ने अपनी किताब में विस्तार से जिक्र किया है, वो पढ़ने लायक है. दरअसल कूरियन जब आणंद में थे, तब मणिबेन से उनकी अक्सर मुलाकातें होती थीं, वह सामाजिक कार्यों में सक्रिय रहती थीं. वह किताब में लिखते हैं," मनिबेन ने उनसे बताया कि जब सरदार पटेल का निधन हुआ तो उन्होंने एक किताब और एक बैग लिया. दिल्ली में जवाहरलाल नेहरू से मिलने चली गईं. उन्होंने नेहरू को इसे सौंपा. पिता ने निर्देश दिए थे कि उनके निधन के बाद इसे केवल नेहरू को सौंपा जाए. इस बैग में पार्टी फंड के 35 लाख रुपए थे और बुक दरअसल पार्टी की खाताबुक थी."
कूरियन ने उनसे पूछा, आप नेहरू से क्या सुनने की उम्मीद कर रही थीं, जवाब था- मैंने सोचा शायद वह ये पूछेंगे कि मैं अब कैसे काम चला रही हूं या मुझको किसी मदद की जरूरत तो नहीं, लेकिन ये उन्होंने कभी पूछा ही नहीं.
निःसंदेह वह आहत हुईं. हैरानी है कि उस दौर में कांग्रेस के ज्यादातर दिग्गज नेता भी उनसे कन्नी काटने लगे. इसमें ज्यादातर ऐसे नेता भी थे, जिनकी कभी न कभी सरदार पटेल ने मदद की थी.
मनिबेन सांसद रहीं लेकिन बाद में 1977 में उन्होंने जनता पार्टी के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ा
अहमदाबाद में सड़कों पर दिख जाती थीं
आखिरी सालों में मनिबेन की आंख काफी कमजोर हो गई. अहमदाबाद की सड़कों पर वह पैदल अकेले चलती हुई दिख जाती थीं. अांखें कमजोर होने की वजह से एक दो बार उनके लड़खड़ाकर गिरने की भी खबरें आईं.
मनिबेन ने युवावय से ही खुद को कांग्रेस और महात्मा गांधी के प्रति समर्पित कर दिया था. वह लंबे समय तक उनके अहमदाबाद स्थित आश्रम में भी रहीं. बाद के बरसों में वह पटेल के साथ दिल्ली में रहने लगीं. वह पिता के रोजमर्रा के कामों को देखती और सचिव के रूप में उनकी मदद करती थीं. लिहाजा कांग्रेस के तकरीबन सभी नेता उन्हें अच्छी तरह जानते थे.
सांसद बनीं और असरदार पदों पर रहीं
पटेल के निधन के बाद बिरला ने उनसे बिरला हाउस में रहने को कहा, लेकिन उन्होंने मना कर दिया. तब उनके पास ज्यादा धन भी नहीं था. वह अहमदाबाद में रिश्तेदारों के यहां चली गईं. वह बस या ट्रेन में तीसरे दर्जे में सफर करती थीं. बाद में कांग्रेसी नेता त्रिभुवनदास की मदद से सांसद बनीं. गुजरात कांग्रेस में असरदार पदों पर रहीं. कई संस्थाओं में आखिरी समय तक ट्रस्टी या पदाधिकारी भी रहीं.
जनता पार्टी के टिकट पर चुनाव जीता
मनिबेन पहली लोकसभा के लिए गुजरात के दक्षिणी कैरा से सांसद चुनी गईं. फिर दूसरी लोकसभा के लिए आणंद से सांसद बनीं. वर्ष 1964 से लेकर 1970 तक राज्यसभा की सदस्य रहीं. बाद में उन्होंने कांग्रेस छोड़कर मोरारजी देसाई के साथ स्वतंत्र पार्टी ग्रहण की. फिर कांग्रेस में आईं. आपातकाल के दौरान वह विरोधस्वरूप फिर इंदिरा गाधी की कांग्रेस आई छोड़कर कांग्रेस ओ में चली गईं.
1977 में उन्होंने जनता पार्टी के टिकट पर मेहसाणा से लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ा और निर्वाचित हुईं. उन्हें मोरारजी देसाई से बहुत उम्मीदें थीं लेकिन उन्होंने उनके साथ न जाने क्यों अजीबोगरीब व्यवहार किया. जब भी वह मिलने जाती थीं तो वह उन्हें बहुत इंतजार कराते थे.
