Governor @CalebMutfwang is proving that governance is about touching lives, not just making promises. From free medical treatment to bringing hope to indigent families, his commitment to accessible healthcare reflects compassion in action. More grace H. E. #TheTimeIsNow2027.
GOVERNOR MUTFWANG’S FREE MEGA MEDICAL OUTREACH PROVIDES A LIFELINE TO INDIGENT PERSONS ACROSS PLATEAU STATE. In a renewed effort to bring quality healthcare closer to the people, the Plateau State Government has continued to provide free medical services to indigent and vulnerable residents across the state through the Free Mega Medical Outreach, sponsored by the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Ngo Josephine Piyo. At the Shendam and Mangu General Hospitals, designated centres for the Southern and Central Senatorial Districts, respectively, hundreds of residents, including women, children, the elderly and other vulnerable persons, have turned out to access essential medical services at no cost. For many beneficiaries, the outreach has brought relief, renewed hope and an opportunity to receive medical attention that might otherwise have been beyond their financial reach. The programme offered a wide range of services, including eye care, dental treatment, laboratory investigations and surgical procedures, providing comprehensive medical support to residents who need it most. Beyond immediate treatment, the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, PLASCHEMA, is also enrolling eligible beneficiaries into health insurance schemes to promote sustained access to healthcare beyond the duration of the outreach. Speaking on the progress of the exercise, the Team Lead, Dr. Nuhu Ma’an, disclosed that hundreds of residents continue to turn out daily to benefit from the programme. He expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise, commending the dedication of the medical teams and their commitment to providing timely and appropriate care to beneficiaries. Dr. Ma’an further assured the public that adequate medical personnel had been deployed to the two centres, with teams working to ensure that patients receive the attention and treatment they require. He also announced that the outreach will soon be extended to the Northern Senatorial District, where the Executive Governor is scheduled to perform the flag-off next week, bringing the programme to the remaining senatorial zone of the state. The Free Mega Medical Outreach reflects the Plateau State Government’s focus on expanding access to healthcare and reducing the financial burden of medical treatment on vulnerable households. By bringing essential health services closer to the people, the initiative seeks to ensure that more residents can access medical attention regardless of their financial circumstances. For the beneficiaries, the programme is more than a medical intervention. It is an opportunity for better health, renewed hope and improved well-being. As the outreach prepares to extend its reach across all three senatorial districts, the initiative highlights the importance of accessible healthcare in building healthier communities and ensuring that no resident is left without the opportunity to receive essential medical care because of financial hardship.

Healthcare shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. I love that @CalebMutfwang is bringing essential medical services close to vulnerable residents and easing the burden of medical bills. Extending it across all three senatorial zones makes it more impactful

GOVERNOR MUTFWANG CHARGES NEW APPOINTEES ON INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND SERVICE TO PLATEAU The Governor of Plateau State has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and member of the Plateau State House of Assembly Commission, as well as the newly appointed Special Advisers and Honorary Advisers, describing their appointments as a call to greater responsibility and service to the people. He noted that the appointments recognise personal credibility, past contributions to the state and the confidence reposed in the appointees by their communities. He expressed optimism that their experience and expertise would strengthen governance, improve policy formulation and implementation, and broaden consultation within the administration. The Governor charged the appointees to uphold the administration’s core values of integrity, transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, discipline and service to humanity. He emphasised that their recommendations must be timely, evidence-based and guided by the overall interest of Plateau State. He further urged them to demonstrate initiative and professionalism by translating ideas into practical proposals that deliver tangible results. He also highlighted the importance of communicating the government’s achievements to the public and maintaining meaningful engagement with citizens to ensure that their feedback informs better decisions. Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to doing more for Plateau State, the Governor stressed that governance extends beyond activities in government offices to include building strong connections with the people. He wished the appointees successful tenures and called on their families to support them as they take on the responsibility of contributing to the development of the state. Together, let us continue to work for the progress and prosperity of Plateau State.

Dear opposition in Plateau, I hope you all are doing well today! I want to make your jobs easy by half. These are roads from just one agency of government. Kindly go through and identify any road that hasn't been given attention but included here. Note that these are roads mostly in Jos that most of us use everyday. I'm sure Jos based X users won't forget how Farin Gada to UJ or Building Materials-Sabon Barki-Bukuru Low Cost used to be in a hurry. I can also share that of Ministry of Works where most of their projects are outside the city center. Mutfwang can't give attention to everything at a go due to inadequate resources but the impact of the baby steps are felt and much more will be done. Kangang, Dong, Rangarasan people, I'm hearing there's progress from your areas...

The Governor is working📌 and I love this particular project 🥹 The road to my Local government has been bad for so long… truth is I have never followed this road to my village. We have always preferred taking the river through a village in Langtang because of the bad road…

Jerry, there's no politician that does not want a seat on the table. Just that the seat (interest) differs. To some, it's appointment and contracts, to some, access, to some, approval and funding of proposals. Regardless of how it's profiled, it's generally a seat on the table of public space and resources. I never suggested you wanted an appointment and if I want to find out, it's a walk in the park for me. I'm certain I won't be wrong if I dig. I insist, people profiled you based on patterns and you are not innocent of some of these sir. Own up to who you are. You can have the rage in you and it's valid. Nobody is saying you shouldn't, it's your right. Some of us just don't think you have the locus standi through moral lenses to cry and insult Mutfwang. As to knowing you, we know what we choose to know and you've not proven us wrong even when it's from a distance. Market your candidate and let the people decide their fate.
