while we wait for other boards to route. how about making the world's most over engineered industrial ufo led fixture with iot heat management control etc...

yes usually for me it writes one off scripts for small things autorouter can't route
EEs are cooked. took me a month to build my first pcb (no use or ai) shitty board with some small errors.
after that I learned enough to be able to prompt fully without touching kicad manually at all.
kind of fucking crazy you can do this with claude order a board and actually be better than a human. no mistakes like I did with polarity because of kicad vs easyeda footprint differences etc..

an obsolete plc 2 axis machine cost close to 300k used.
parts are no longer available. the machine itself is not that complex.
my estimate is I can completely rebuild the plc motion and software for 2k

simply because a lot of people will not be willing to risk the money needed to create hardware
Replying to @yacineMTB
yes sir manufacturing and hardware are the next frontier after software
the models are fucking retarded 7min cherry picking 20min doing some simple shit.
it seems they keep getting stuck on their own tool calls or use huge timeouts for a 10s task.
when are they going to fox this shit

the best part and I've said it multiple times is that they literally told ai to copy the silkscreen and because only someone like @realwillreil can make double sided boards because he does it himself.
they literally copied the silkscreen led on the other side but didn't add the led because it would be more expensive 😂😂
so this is going to be a two axis motion controller board using stm32h7.
the idea is this is the core module and it will stack on top of a carrier board.
carrier boards will be made specifically for each machine type in the floor

Gm needs to make cars that don't break down after 2 years
