Sidin makes an uncomfortable point. My ethos as a founder is that my customer shouldn't know me to use my product, and it's been reinforced every time I've had to escalate my customer service problem until the CEO of the other company is personally involved. That's a fail.
Everyday I am reminded how much damage was done to generations of Indian youth because the smart people were told to be quiet and humble and let their work speak, while the idiots were given free rein to have a personality.

#Tulu as an official language in Karnataka is a long overdue administrative measure. The fifth Dravidian language with a disused script, needs both recognition and protection.

Since you will keep hearing the word "#UPI ecosystem" in MDR debate - here is @jackerhack explaining clearly who the 7 parties are. The comparison with card networks is wrong at so many levels including privacy protections they offer vs data maximisation #UPI offers.
2 minutes to understand data-maximisation in #UPI and also why #Whatsapp had to go on PR mode about transaction remaining secure and *private*. - This is @jackerhack explaining data maximisation in #UPI using #WhatsappPay as example.

Even meta - charges less when you give data for MuseSpark. That's after spending GPUs. UPI dumps and leaks all that data, has audacity to charge. It's the same debate Cost to consumer

Shame on @ManoramaDaily leading the cartelisation of Kerala newspapers by hiking cover prices to 11 and 12 rupees, up from 10, perpetuating a cycle of inflation in Kerala. The funny thing is that Manorama is one daily in the country that can survive solely on its advertisements

Then why Kerala has Kannada as Minority language in Kasargod when it never represrnt the real minority, ie Tuluvas Kerala must denotify Kannada as minority language and replace with Tulu in Tigalari script as official minority language and schools must teach that, not Kannada.

The "unorganised" fraudsters are so competent technically, while the "organized" fraudsters are so incompetent. People lose out to both ends of spectrum.

But I never foresaw them using trusted computing to deliver and manage malware. It is definitely some good talent they have got there, while most on defense are still certification and credential fellows. Incentives drive everything, I guess #

A man in Australia asked his agent (Claude running on OpenClaw) to book him a spot in a popular gym class. The agent found a software vulnerability that let it book the class weeks further ahead than should have been possible. When the user then asked if it could move him up the waitlist, the agent discovered the API had no authorisation checks on cancelling other people’s reservations, so it cancelled the person in the first spot and moved him up the list. Some people will call this misalignment, but his agent was perfectly aligned to him - it was only trying to help its user get what he wanted. The most important thing about this story, in my opinion, is that it gives you a window into what is about to start happening on a massive scale once millions of people have an agent trying to get their beloved users the best seats, bookings, appointments or reservations through absolutely any means necessary.

This is how @crpfindia's RAF personnel responded as Delhi BJP workers protested over the Punjab paper leak. The expression on the officer to the right says it all. Picture by @josekuttyp in Malayala Manorama.

If someone finds a vulnerability in an first world bank, they would get a bounty fund awarded. In India, @logic exposed Terabytes of data and the reactions so far: 1) No media picked up until it trended on X 2) @logic 's account got restricted 3) Exploit underplayed by BoB

India should ban social media for people above 55 years. I believe old people should go on vacations, read physical books, sun bathe in the beaches and stay away from social media. I think it might help them fight off Alzheimer's and other cognitive problems as well.
India should ban social media for young children too. I believe young children should read physical books, play in the dirt under the sun and stay away from social media!

In 2001, Lata Mangeshkar is awarded the Bharat Ratna. Seven years later, P. Susheela amma, the foundational blueprint, melody Queen of South India is given a mere Padma Bhushan. Twelve years later, S. Janaki, a vocal powerhouse of unmatched emotional range and nightingale of South is offered the exact same consolation prize, which she rightfully rejects. The logic of National recognition in India is broken, and the timeline proves it. It takes decades of unparalleled, multi-lingual brilliance from Southern icons to even register as a footnote in New Delhi. This isn't just about music. It is the structural reality of the country. From the revenue formulas that tax the South to subsidize the North, to the gatekept corridors of the Union Cabinet, the highest judiciary, and central contracts, the pattern is unyielding. The South is expected to perform like a powerhouse, but is treated like a secondary territory. In every single walk of life, the message remains the same: the South does the heavy lifting, but to India, it is just the bloody South. Let that sink in.
S. Janaki, the "Nightingale of the South" and the Humming Queen of Indian music has left us. Her unmatched legacy deserved the highest honors much earlier; when she was finally offered the Padma Bhushan, it came too late (2013), and she rightfully declined it. While artists like Lata Mangeshkar were rightfully celebrated with the Bharat Ratna (2001), Janaki Amma never received the credit she truly earned. This is a reflection of a larger, unfortunate reality, how the South is consistently overlooked and given the least preference across all fields. Rest in peace, Janaki Amma. Your divine voice and incredible legacy will be remembered forever.

Latha Mangeshkar sung predominantly in Hindi. She’s called ‘Nightingale of India’; and was awarded Bharat Ratna, in 2001. S.Janaki sung loads of songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam; but she’s only ‘Nightingale of South India’; was awarded PadmaBhushan, in 2013, which she politely declined. The pernicious notion that ‘Hindi is India,’ is hurting all of us a great deal. High time we woke up #SJanaki

That S. Janaki was a fab singer is well known. She gave us SP Balasubramanium by spotting him in a college contest. The lady lived like a saint. She had the courage to decline the Padma Bushan because she felt she got her recognition 55 years too late. Even South Indians celebrated Asha Bhosle. It's a pity the rest of India didn't get to discover S.Janaki. The lady who recorded 48,000 songs. We'll miss you Janaki Amma. Thank you for the music.
