This problem is only going to get worse as AI becomes more powerful and more widely used. Congress needs to address AI and how it can be used to sway our elections. We should start with passing the NO FAKES Act.
A political opponent recently posted a deepfake video of me on social media. It was generated using AI and fabricated my voice and image to put words in my mouth. While it represents a new - and dangerous - low, it was not unpredictable. It just drives home why we need to act now to give people protections against unauthorized AI replicas of their name and likeness. Let’s start by passing my NO FAKES Act.

Here's WHAT I KNOW: Malignant narcissism is an extreme pathology. They always go down, it's always damaging, and it's almost always messy. Here's WHAT I THINK: The United States is a source of great wealth and power, filled with far too many in key positions, who - because of their selfish lust for a bigger slice of that wealth and power, or their ideological zeal, or their cowardice, or a combination - are ok with a malignant narcissist running the asylum. Here's WHAT I SEE: This malignant narcissist is in decline, and at this stage of that decline, is motivated by two things above all. It's not money, peace, solutions, a greater good, or anyone's betterment. He is motivated by putting forth his own grandiosity, and avoiding humiliation. PERIOD. Watch him and listen to him, and every syllable, inflection, and deed is motivated by those two things and solely by those two things.

This is a lie. Not a single federal dollar goes to providing health insurance for undocumented immigrants. NOT. ONE. PENNY. Republicans would rather lie and shut down the government down than protect your health care.
Democrats are prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens. They are America Last radicals.

The President of the United States threatening a television network. Just background noise in our broken politics.
In a new post, President Trump threatens to sue ABC again. He says the White House was told that Jimmy Kimmel’s show canceled but ABC/Disney never said that publicly or privately.

At Charlie Kirk memorial, Trump again repeats falsehood that “most of the violence comes from the left.” His DOJ erased their own study showing the opposite. They did this about a day after Kirk was killed.

LMAO! Trump thought talking about Fed Reserve construction costs as a real estate developer would distract from the Epstein files. Then Jerome Powell humiliated him so badly that Trump probably wishes he’d stuck to the Epstein files. This exchange is a MUST-WATCH! 🤣

Um… don’t we have sanctions on Russia? A. How would tariffs work on a country we have no trade with? B. How would taxing Americans put pressure on Russia? Why is trump’s answer to everything tariffs?

Brazil had the balls to arrest their ex-president for trying to do the same thing that Trump did in 2020.

You pulled National Guard from my command — who were literally doing this work — to stand around in front of a building in LA. Does the President of the United States not understand what his troops do? Is he confused again? Deeply disturbing.
Q: Will your recent dust up with Governor Newsom affect wildfire relief? Trump: Sure, maybe. The man's incompetent. You clean the floor of your forest and you won't have any forest fires

Yesterday, Julie Kelly, pictured below, said that Senator Padilla, who’s the son of Mexican immigrants, looks like a janitor and doesn’t know how to speak English. Padilla is a graduate of MIT and a Senator. Julie is a MAGA legal analyst w/out a law degree and a food blogger.

What an absolute idiot. All for his damn ego. Millions of dollars wasted. Streets that will be torn up. Soldiers in the heat for hours. This is so stupid it defies any logic whatsoever. All this proves is that Trump is crazy and in a state of mental decline. Remove his ass
Trump on Military Parade: We’ll have army airplanes flying over the top and tanks all over the place and thousands and thousands of soldiers bravely march down the streets. It's going to be a beautiful day

Don’t listen to him. What he’s threatening is illegal, unconstitutional, and unAmerican. He believes that if he threatens peaceful protestors with violence, they won’t show up. It’s a classic authoritarian tactic and it’s up to us if we let him silence us.
Trump on his parade this weekend: “If there's any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force. For those people that want to protest, they're going to be met with very big force.”

54,000 people in ICE detention, 5,000 more than three weeks ago, despite no new facilities going online! PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. ICE facilities are hugely overcrowded, with dozens of people shoved into cells designed for half that many. This is a recipe for DISASTER.
Replying to @camiloreports
On Thursday AM, ICE was holding around 54,000 immigrant detainees in detention facilities, according to the data. The Trump admin. is asking Congress to give ICE billions of dollars to hire thousands of additional officers and expand detention capacity to hold 100K individuals.
