NEW: Apple is cutting employee AI spending budgets even as it pushes workers to use the technology more. Engineers have seen daily limits cut from $300 to $200, with further reductions to $100 planned. Other teams could see limits fall to $25. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

When our team first moved to multiplayer sessions, where everyone can read each others prompts, I was initially very hesitant
I say a LOT of dumb things to my agent
That is still true, but I've learned two things since gaining full visibility into all the sessions of my teammates:
1. Everybody else says dumb things too
2. There is a ton to learn from how other people on the team drive their agents
For example, I wanted to learn how our UI/UX guy, @vhbrzezowski , prototypes with agents - so I just asked!
My agent read all of his sessions and helped me understand Vyctor's workflow using our `show_widget` tool to iterate on mockups built from our actual frontend code
Once you get over the fear of sharing your prompts with others it tears down so many useless knowledge silos across your whole company.

Particle-1 is available in OpenClaw.
@particle_api reports ~45% fewer output tokens than DeepSeek V4.1 Flash with comparable benchmark accuracy. Zero data retention for standard inference.
To give it a try, update to OpenClaw v2026.10.10.

Sama is very challenging for people to engage with because you have to listen to all the words he says in the order that he says them
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

Another reason why you wanna use your own harness and not one where companies change what you can or can’t do at will.
ANTHROPIC IS CRACKING DOWN ON VIDEO GAME REWRITES 🚨
Claude Code picked up a new rule around Oct 27, sent from Anthropic’s servers under a flag called "tengu_heron_brook". There’s no setting to turn it off.
The full rule: “Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.”
Is this the end of game rewrites, modding and everything in between?

Day 25/
We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today.
We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage.
And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

I spent some time on the weekend to test bun's AOT compiler and results are nothing short of amazing. Performance up 2-3x, memory use less than half.
Bun AOT also introduces `--trim` which deletes unused parts of Bun from the compiled binary
On macOS, a binary that uses Bun.serve’s HTTP server goes from 89 MB to 25 MB

ALT bun build --compile --aot --trim, with --trim highlighted. A block representing an 89 MB executable from Bun 1.4.4 on macOS arm64 is being cut up with scissors. The part that stays is pink: 25 MB for hello world, 34 MB with Bun.serve, 44 MB with node:http. The rest is cut into paper scraps, each crossed out: bun install, bun test, bun check, bun build, bun lint, bun fmt, WebAssembly, debugger, JIT compilers.

‼️ UPDATE - Tailscale confirms the Tailworm SSH flaws are real.
Its new investigation page says most of what it found is privilege escalation and calls the issues “serious.” Fix targeted within 24 hours — no CVE or patched version out yet.
Mitigate now:
→ Set TS_SSH_DISABLE_FORWARDING=1 in the tailscaled service and restart
→ Tighten SSH access rules to the users/devices that need them
