Yesterday Ireland's electricity customers paid nearly €7million to wind operators to park their blades. 7 million fucking euros for exactly nothing in return. And that kind of nonsense happens nearly every single day. Pull the other one.

Absolutely not. Any country that can afford to purchase military hardware but fails to properly support its own people should not be receiving aid from us. By providing that aid, we are effectively freeing up their own resources to spend on military equipment.
Ethiopia received ~€244m in Irish bilateral aid from 2020–2025. It’s just received a delivery of 12 Russian Su-35 fighters & plans to acquire four S-400 air defence system, again from Russia. Should Irish taxpayers be funding aid to countries buying advanced Russian weaponry?

Good man Jack Sheridan
Congratulations to Jack Sheridan who once again finished top of the pile on the Kildare Senior Hurling Championship top scorers chart. Special mention also to his brother Charlie who spent time at the top and also finished as the top scorer from play and the top goal scorer!

UNBELIEVABLE that somone could let this go ahead. It is very demeaning to Grand Parents. Nothing to do with consent.
🇮🇪 The Irish state has published an advert discouraging grandparents from hugging their grandchildren, as part of a campaign designed to promote "consent".

UNBELIEVABLE. Our Defence Forces are being asked to do more, work extra hours and prepare for Ireland’s EU Presidency while promises on pay and conditions remain undelivered. Four years after the Commission report, they are still waiting. This is no way to treat those who serve Ireland. 🇮🇪
As concerns increase regarding 🇪🇺 defence and security, meanwhile, in 🇮🇪 the government cannot even deliver on the basics, pay and conditions. With such little government interest, is it any wonder why the State remains defenceless. @SimonHarrisTD @HMcEntee @ThomasByrneTD

On RTÉ @morningireland, RACO General Secretary, Lieutenant Colonel Conor King said “there has been a complete undermining of @defenceforces industrial relations mechanisms, and the mood among our membership is one of frustration and distrust with Government.”

Serious staffing concerns at Naas Hospital, with warnings that wards may have to close if the situation continues. Our population is growing, yet key projects remain stalled. Naas Hospital urgently needs the staff, beds and infrastructure to serve Kildare safely. #NaasHospital #Kildare #SafeStaffing #PatientSafety

Kildare Intermediate Hurling Championship Semi Final Naas: 4-21 Moorefield: 2-13 Final score With that result, @LeixlipGAA are promoted to the Senior Hurling Champ for 2027. Naas cannot be promoted even if they win the final due to already having a senior team, so Leixlip go up!

Yes 💯 The European Parliament approved a resolution on Thursday for the European Union to include entities and people linked to the Muslim Brotherhood on the EU’s list of terrorist organisations. Just saying because he needed an Islamic translater. Sinn Fein voted against this.

It is unbelievable that he does not even know that you dont have to be a citizen to get on the housing list. You should not be able to get on the list unless you are a citizen of at least the EU.
Is TheJournal.ie working on a fact check of @MichealMartinTD Fox News interview, where he discussed immigrants’ eligibility for social housing and said Irish citizens get priority?

Scrap individualisation of our tax system. Let partners share their tax credits so one parent can stay at home while the other goes to work.
