Marcus Aurelius nailed it. The moment you are disturbed by insult or pleased by praise, you are still a slave.

Too many people still think of Bitcoin as a 'get rich quick' technology.
Once in a while it works that way.
But usually, it is a 'get rich slowly technology.'

With CLARITY stalled, I expect the SEC, CFTC, and Treasury to advance rules under existing law, banks to expand Bitcoin custody and loans against it, and more capital to favor Bitcoin and digital credit. GENIUS supports stablecoin adoption. Progress need not wait for Congress.

In America, you don’t need a license to discuss Bitcoin, advocate for it, or publicly recommend owning it. Bitcoin is a commodity, not a security. Fraud and manipulation are illegal. Bitcoin advocacy is free speech.

Jeff Bezos on NYC spending:
"If we ran Amazon the way New York City runs their school system, packages would take 6 weeks to arrive, we would charge you a $100 delivery fee and when the package did finally arrive, it would have the wrong item in it."
I’m glad to see Morgan Stanley recommend 2-4% BTC allocation for their advisors.
It would be more authentic and credible if they directly acquired some Bitcoin on their own balance sheet.
@Bitwise continues to lead in the only way that matters, by example.

The name of the company… NewBird AI. It is a cutting-edge, AI-native cloud infrastructure firm out of- well, they used to be out of San Francisco making sneakers, but forget that, John- they are now awaiting imminent deployment of next-generation GPU compute clusters that have both massive enterprise and consumer applications. Now, right now, John, the stock trades on the Nasdaq at about the price of a cup of coffee. And by the way, John, our analysts indicate it could go a heck of a lot higher than that. And John- one more thing- they're up 160% just today

The crazy thing about the unrealized gains tax (aside from the dystopian concept of taxing income that DOES NOT EXIST) is that it’s the deliberate nail in the coffin of an already crumbling system.
Why do people invest? Because if they leave their money in the bank, it loses value through the state’s money printing.
Inflation is punishment for saving money.
But an unrealized gains tax is punishment for investing.
So you punish people for saving instead of investing, but you also punish people for investing instead of saving.
Congratulations, you created the problem and killed the solution.
Another proud day for the “First World.”

Yes, gold has thousands of years of being looted, and hundreds of years, including the present, of sitting in vaults, its trust minimization properties relegated to ancient history. Because it's far more expensive than Bitcoin to validate. You are another example of the vast majority who have little clue how this stuff works, or why it's valuable, and that vast majority of ignorance is why the Bitcoin learning curve has plenty of upside left to ride.
