The Apostle Paul said:
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrelsabout the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.
Ask yourself:
Is my life marked by a pattern that avoids foolish controversies?
I hope it is because they are unprofitable and useless.
Mine hasn’t always been marked by this biblical standard.
We are all in need of God’s grace.

Turned 40 over the weekend. These books I received as gifts are the things I’m most excited about.

What does it mean to be justified by faith alone?
In this brief clip, @RCSproul reveals how we are graciously linked to Jesus—all that He is and all that He has done.

Mao’s Cultural Revolution cancel anything traditional.
American Cultural Revolution has gone further. It cancels biological reality!
I was just forcefully removed from a @ThornsFC game for the crime of wearing an @xx_xyathletics t-shirt. I am in shock. We peacefully wore our shirts. We were assaulted by fans. Then WE were forced to leave – with FORCE by stadium security. I am utterly in shock.

I haven’t read this book, yet, but I suspect it is seminal for the battle of humanity.

This is how to get a Communist proletarian revolution going in the West:
1. Create a proletarian class by making people dependent on government welfare and importing unlimited Third-World poor.
2. Bankrupt the welfare state to create the crisis.
3. Mobilize the disenfranchised by funding and organizing the movement.
4. Overthrow the government and existing social order.
5. Bring a Communist “utopia” to earth, where a new ruling class emerges while everyone else is equally poor and unfree.
The new ruling class is the Globalist elites!
🇫🇷 France's protests are turning into something MUCH BIGGER than a weekend of unrest.
Huge crowds are flooding the streets over soaring living costs and concerns about democracy.
In Paris alone, police counted 110,000 demonstrators.
And the movement isn't winding down.
Protest organizers are already building toward a nationwide GENERAL STRIKE on November 5.
What started as street protests is becoming a sustained challenge to the French government.

I want to thank Southern Evangelical Seminary @sesapologetics president and retired judge, Phil Ginn, for his endorsement of Faith in the Crossfire.
Here's the full endorsement:
"Without question Christianity is under attack externally. But sadly, the unkindest cuts of all are from the inside. As many true Christ followers seek to remain steadfast in the truth of historic Christianity and biblical inerrancy and infallibility, we at SES are encouraged to have faithful men like Dr. Bill Roach sounding the clarion call to battle against the philosophical and theological systems that are counter to the truth of the Gospel in which we believe. Dr. Roach has written a thorough and logical presentation that informs and equips his readers to face the crossfires of secularism, Gnosticism, and Marxism. I am proud to not only call him my friend, but also my brother in Christ."— Judge Phil Ginn, Retired Senior Resident Superior Court Judge (NC); President, Southern Evangelical Seminary.

Airport reading.
My new book, Faith in the Crossfire, is now available.
The woke revolution did not stay in universities. It entered our schools, workplaces, families, and churches.
Faith in the Crossfire explains where these ideas came from, how they entered evangelicalism, and how Christians can respond.

Thanks, although as the article notes, I was adopting the “Christianity Astray” phrase from theologian @billroach_!

When an exec expressed concern that people were complaining to him about how "woke" Christianity Today had become, CT’s staff should have listened rather than try to shoot the messenger. Last year I wrote a piece documenting the problems at CT. I think it is particularly relevant given the implosion at CT being reported on:

"We are standing, I say, as condemned criminals in the dock in our rags. And God sends Christ and the Spirit to take away the rags and to put upon us the robe of Christ's perfect righteousness. And God looks upon us and sees not us, nor our sins, but the righteousness of Christ."

On their entertainment value or their faithfulness in proclaiming God’s Word?
