With campaign season coming to a close, I’m now Job searching in the DMV. If you are hiring or know of opportunities please reach out, I’d love to discuss them
I’ve worked for campaigns, as a congressional staffer, and for the Utah Legislature to go into some of my experience

Frankly this is idea that YIMBY is some scheme to displace minorities is insane given the fact NIMBYS have a long history of displacing minorities and have openly talked about it, the last socialist mayor of Milwaukee Frank Zielder comes to this conclusion in his book as well!

Obama endorsing a very open DSA member is a bit of a big deal
Today, I’m honored to share that President Obama is supporting our campaign for the U.S. Senate.
President @BarackObama & I both started as organizers in our communities, because we immediately understood that real changes come from regular folks joining the fight.

San Francisco has been in control of NIMBYs for 50 years and Black people have fallen from 13.4% of the population in 1970 to 6% today.
NIMBY is what *causes* displacement. Cities that build housing rapidly keep rents stable and keep lower-income residents able to stay.

Last week, friends with young kids came to visit us from the suburbs in California.
As we ran around Manhattan together, they looked at us and asked, “How do you do this all the time? How do you raise young kids in New York City? Do you have to get in the car every time you go somewhere? This seems crazy.”
I smiled and told them that, for us, raising kids in the city is actually easier than raising them in the suburbs.
We never think about getting in the car.
The grocery store is two blocks away. The kids’ doctor is two blocks away. There’s a Barnes & Noble six minutes away on foot.
We walk to the Met, the Natural History Museum, and Central Park.
We walk to get coffee. There are playgrounds and playdates everywhere. Our building is full of kids their age, and so is our block.
Once you get past the idea that raising kids in the city must be complicated, the day-to-day reality is pretty simple.
We just walk out the door.
And honestly, raising kids in the city is actually a whole lot easier than raising them in the suburbs.

Not to delve too much into early vote data, but the Democratic Party is kind of just back isn’t it. Compared to the zombie it was a few years ago

I want to put this up as a poster on my wall.
The proliferation of left-wing / left-of-center content on YouTube and other spaces online, even in just the past two years, has genuinely driven cultural and political change.

The first time I was a delegate to NYC-DSA convention was 2022. It's the very heart of DSA's democracy.
And this year, I’m voting for the Socialist Majority slate. Vote by Sunday night: vote.socialistmajority.com/n…

I hate birder Halloween because what do you mean you’re the Chestnut-bellied Flowerpiercer that got disgraced lister Jason Mann his fraudulent 10,000th species the same week as Peter Kaestner?

Replying to @PEWilliams_
this redevelopment plan is the definition of a win-win, one that’s only made possible by significantly increasing the density (which is why NIMBYs like Kate and Layla oppose it)
