According to World Bank's latest report, India's extreme poverty has fallen from 27.6% to just under 2.6%. And for Indians living under Rs. 400 a day (lower middle income), it has come down from 57.7% of the population to 16.1%. Remarkable achievement by India given the rupee depreciated and the inflationary pressure of a fast growing economy.

Apna Adam Bhai.
He scored 96 in an ODI without hitting a single boundary. Then he conquered Mount Everest. He was a New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter who played international cricket for 12 years and was never short of surprises. On 28 October 1994, against India in Vadodara, he scored 96 runs off 138 balls without hitting a single four or six , a remarkable display of patience and determination. Years after retiring from international cricket, he took on a completely different challenge. In May 2011, at the age of 40, he reached the summit of Mount Everest, becoming the first cricketer to achieve the feat. From standing behind the stumps to standing on top of the world's highest mountain, his journey was anything but ordinary. Can you name this former New Zealand cricketer? Please don’t use AI or Google ! Only real cricketing knowledge required 🥶

2011, Rishi Kapoor stated that Raj Kiran was alive & being treated in a mental health institution in Atlanta, USA, after speaking with his brother Govind. However Raj Kiran's daughter denied publicly about it. Somy Ali & her foundation is still trying to get some trace.
HE DISAPPEARED FROM THE WORLD OF CINEMA. MORE THAN TWO DECADES LATER, HIS FAMILY STILL HAS NO ANSWERS. 💔 Raj Kiran was once a familiar face in Hindi cinema, remembered for films like Karz and Arth.He appeared in more than 100 films during a career spanning nearly two decades. Then, in 2003, he disappeared from public life. His whereabouts remain unconfirmed despite years of searches and several conflicting reports. His family continued with life. His daughters, Rishika and Mannat, built their own futures, while Rishika established herself in the jewellery business. His wife reportedly remarried after waiting years for his return. But behind every headline about the family's life today lies one heartbreaking unanswered question: Where is Raj Kiran? Was he living somewhere far from the spotlight, struggling in silence, or had something else happened to him? No verified account has established the truth. Bollywood has seen many stars fade from the screen. But Raj Kiran's story is different, because his disappearance remains an unresolved mystery. Some stories don't need a comeback. They need answers. 💔

VVS. But don't miss the real 4D player MSK Prasad who later identified and selected 3D Players.
Guess the batsman from this scorecard. India’s 2nd innings vs Australia at Sydney (January 2000). Total 261 all out. The opener top-scored with 167 (198 balls, 27×4, SR 84.34) caught †Gilchrist, bowled Lee. While the rest of the side struggled badly: • MSK Prasad 3 • Rahul Dravid 0 • Sachin Tendulkar (c) 4 • Sourav Ganguly 25 • Hrishikesh Kanitkar 8 • Anil Kumble 15 • And the lower order barely contributed This was his first Test century. He carried the innings almost single-handedly against McGrath, Warne, Lee and Fleming on a tough tour, when his place in the side was under serious pressure. This is pure Nostalgia! Who is it? 👇

18 years ago, I helped pioneer India’s drone revolution as a founding member of ideaForge. After years spent working with our armed forces along the Pakistan and Bangladesh borders, and with paramilitary forces in the jungles of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, I’m on a mission to build India’s defence against the very drones I once helped build. At @ArmoryShield, we build counter-drone and electronic warfare systems in India, end to end: RF front ends, electronics, firmware, software and AI models. Designed, developed and manufactured in-house, on our own IP. Grateful to early believers like @antlerindia, @growxventures, @dexterangels, @industrial47, AC ventures and our angels. Sovereign Defence. Nothing less.

Absolutely. We are rushing to adopt AI, but security & governance aren’t keeping pace. The real question is whether we are building systems that are not just intelligent, but secure & accountable by design.
CERT-In has documented AI agents accessing live Indian systems without authorisation. Some affected organisations didn't even detect the intrusion themselves. This isn't futuristic science fiction, @bladeit. Exposed credentials, forgotten APIs and excessive permissions are being exploited at machine speed. @SameerP_IND and @Prathkum, are Indian companies treating AI security as seriously as AI adoption? Innovation without security is an open invitation. #CyberSecurity #AI

The photo shows the original 18th century Maratha cavalry "bhala" that was often 12 feet long. Made from hollow bamboo, they were light enough for one hand and flexible enough not shatter on contact. This is what made them deadly. Tactical use: A small squadron of Maratha horsemen would ride rapidly toward the enemy line, brandishing their ultra-long bhalas. They would deliberately stir up massive clouds of dust to obscure their true numbers.Just as they drew close to the enemy's musket fire range, the Marathas would abruptly turn their horses and flee in apparent panic and disorder. Seeing the enemy run, opposing commanders or overeager cavalry would often break their disciplined formation to give chase. The moment the enemy line fractured, the Marathas would instantly wheel their highly agile horses around and counter-attack. The British eventually developed packed musket formations (such as squares) to beat cavalry. This was then used against Napoleon at Waterloo by Wellington
State Elephant, Benares (Varanasi). Photograph circa 1880s.The Maharajas of Benares (known as the Kashi Naresh) maintained a lavish royal household and fleet of state elephants used for ceremonial processions, durbars, and festivals. State elephants were draped in heavy, gold-embroidered silk, brocade cloths, and jewelled body paint. They carried ornate metal or silver howdahs (riding seats) where the Maharaja or high officials sat. The elephant was guided by a mahout (elephant controller), whose official uniform often reflected his status within the royal cavalry or household staff. A prominent context for these elephants was the grand annual inauguration of the Ramnagar Ramlila. Started in the mid-19th century by Maharaja Udit Narayan Singh, the Kashi Naresh traditionally led the opening pageantry of the 31-day folk-theatre cycle riding atop a ceremonial state elephant. #Varanasi #royalty #elephant #history

🚨Ather's market cap now 3.5 times Ola's, share price delivers nearly 5x returns The two Bengaluru-based companies were once seen as direct rivals in India's electric two-wheeler market. However, their performance has diverged sharply over the past two years. Soon after listing in August 2024, Ola Electric's market capitalisation hit Rs 64,000 crore before dropping to Rs 16,000 crore in October this year. Even from the IPO price, Ola's share price is down by over 50 percent. by @AnandJRAnand moneycontrol.com/technology/…

#PRESSRELEASE #Aurora 2026: India’s National AI Forum to Bring Industry Leaders Together to Explore How AI Is Reshaping Business and Technology Quantum Tiger-supported virtual forum takes place on October 30, bringing together perspectives across industry, engineering, banking, education and enterprise AI. India, October 29, 2026: As artificial intelligence moves beyond experimentation and increasingly shapes how organisations operate, innovate and compete, Aurora 2026, India’s National AI Forum, will bring together industry professionals, technology leaders, educators, entrepreneurs and practitioners on October 30, 2026, for a cross-industry conversation on the opportunities and challenges emerging from the AI transformation. Supported by Quantum Tiger, Aurora will take place virtually from 2:30 PM to 6:15 PM IST. The forum aims to move the conversation beyond AI’s technical capabilities to examine its real-world implications for industries, businesses, institutions and India’s wider economic future. The central idea behind Aurora is straightforward: India’s AI opportunity is not limited to adopting technologies developed elsewhere. It also lies in building the infrastructure, applications, talent and ideas required to shape its own intelligence economy. Across sectors, AI is influencing product development, financial services, engineering workflows, workforce capabilities, customer engagement and organisational decision-making. Yet adoption brings important questions around implementation, skills, productivity, trust, infrastructure and the ability to translate technological advances into measurable outcomes. Aurora seeks to bring these questions into a practical, industry-led discussion. The forum will feature perspectives from professionals working across different domains, exploring how AI is changing their industries, where the most significant opportunities are emerging, what challenges organisations face, and how leaders should prepare for the next phase of technological change. Among the perspectives represented at Aurora are engineering capability development, semiconductor development, banking and startup ecosystems, education, and the application of AI to business and institutional transformation. The programme is designed to connect these distinct experiences and encourage a broader understanding of AI’s impact across the economy. “India’s AI conversation needs to move beyond experimentation and demonstrations towards building meaningful capabilities, products and outcomes. We need to understand not only what AI can do, but also how it changes the way industries work, how people build skills, and how organisations create value. Aurora is intended to bring these perspectives together and encourage a more grounded conversation about the opportunities ahead,” said @bladeit , Founder and CEO of Quantum Tiger. Aurora reflects Quantum Tiger’s broader focus on making AI practical and accessible, while advancing the conversation around sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption and the development of technology capabilities relevant to Indian businesses and institutions. The forum will feature individual speaker sessions followed by Q&A segments, with a panel discussion bringing together perspectives from across the programme. The emphasis will be on practical experiences, emerging opportunities, implementation challenges and the questions industry leaders must confront as AI becomes increasingly embedded in their work. Aurora 2026 is intended for entrepreneurs, CXOs, enterprise leaders, researchers, educators, students and practitioners interested in understanding the implications of AI beyond the technology itself. The event is supported by presenting partners AVNi, Bharat Whytec, APEG & Revopsly. Event Details Date: Friday, October 30, 2026 Time: 2:30 PM–6:15 PM IST Format: Virtual Website: quantumtiger.in/aurora Direct Registration: us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regi…
