Infuriating. I run a youth mental health charity which pays for young people who are struggling to skip waiting lists and access private therapy quickly. Suicidal teens and young adults are otherwise being put on waiting lists - for months - due to lack of resources. We're two years old and neither myself nor any committee member has taken a penny. No wages, no expenses. We've zero overheads - 100% of funds raised are spent on therapy services. How much do we get from the Government? Zero. We're a charity - an NGO - so we get lumped in with the likes of this. Professional form fillers who get hundreds of thousands of euro thrown at them for activities that don't even proport to help the Irish people. Waste is not victimless. There needs to be a bonfire of these organisations. Strip every one of them down to zero. See how charitable these charities are then.
Charity of the Day! Akidwa , or to give it its full name Akina Dada Wa Africa Company Limited By Guarantee We try to be upbeat with these Tweets but sometimes you feel like putting your head in your arms and crying. Its latest filed accounts show €765,716 of income in 2024 along with a note reference 4.1 but alas note 4.1 just repeats the same figure with no analysis. There is an analysis over several pages which suggests taxpayer income from six government schemes is €522,000, there is no analysis of non-govt funding. That suggests that €244,000 comes from other sources. Akidwa says it spends €207,749 on "activities for raising funds" It has 10 staff but didn't apparently record any PRSI in 2023. What's that about? Whilst it hasn't published its 2025 accounts yet, it has provided a summary to the Charity Regulator which says its income for 2025 was €987,823 of which the taxpayer provided €811,000. This is a charity which had income of just €255,429 in 2021 of which €196,000 was from the taxpayer. Its taxpayer funding has QUADRUPLED in four years. There is no analysis of salaries by band. The CEO is Salome Mbugua who we last saw out and about in 2024 protesting when the DPP didn't take any action against Gardai who shot George Nkencho in 2021. What does the charity do? "advancement of education and the relief of poverty by setting up a drop-in centre to relieve hardship for women immigrating, particularly from the Continent of Africa into Ireland by providing information, counselling (including therapeutic services for survivors of war, FGM, torture and other forms of disempowerment to women) and social friendly facilities."

Extraordinary what’s going on in this country. The same opportunists & chancers jumping on every gravy train going - a train that travels on a loop, stopping to drop off their charges at outfits such a NWCI, Women’s Aid, Migrants’ Rights Centre, The Immigrant Council of Ireland, IHREC, ICCL, Irish Network Against Racism etc etc.. The same small group of sinecurists are passing each other on the way, swapping rôles & moving from one jolly to the next. The big problem we know is not only that we are paying for these freeloaders - but that they are hand-picked by government whilst being unelected by us - & they deliver & legitimise policy that affects every part of our lives. Weaponising minorities, they operate under the cover of “justice”, “women”, “migrants” & “rights”. In to the fray steps “Dr” Tom Felle. But he’s not a Dr is he? But somehow he gets to board the gravy train with that title anyway. And sitting in a plum publicly-funded job in the University of Galway, having allegedly LIED about his qualifications in journalism, he specialises in how to convince the electorate to “trust” the media. Then he lands a rôle with Coimisiún na Meán as an advisor on “fake news”. (He definitely had experience in that.) This charlatan also got to “advise” governments & the EU & collaborated with the United Nations migration agency as the lead academic partner for the Global Migration Media Academy. The Global Migration Media Academy is exactly as bad as it sounds - training media how to give positive spin (lie) to mass immigration/people trafficking & how to censor “misinformation” (truth). So a man who lied his way in to a publicly funded job teaches other publicly funded liars how to lie better. And the publicly-funded university that employed him without due diligence tells us, the public purse, that it’s none of our business what his qualifications are. We are only here to fund the gravy train. We don’t get a say in who rides on it. We don’t get a say in what they deliver. We don’t get to question what they do. We just put up & shut up. The best small country in the world in which to do monkey business. #primetime #Galway #TomFelle @uniofgalway @jmcuniofgalway rte.ie/news/primetime/2026/1…

Every failure, every bad decision, every political disaster? Blame Russia. Across Europe, people are waking up, and they’ve had enough. This viral video captures the growing anger of European citizens tired of propaganda, political arrogance, and leaders who refuse to take responsibility for their actions, including the open borders debacle. Every failure, every bad decision, every political disaster? Blame Russia. Europeans are tired of being lied to, lectured, and treated like fools. The excuses are wearing thin. More and more ordinary Europeans are waking up and refusing to swallow the endless stream of propaganda, excuses and outright bullshit the establishment keeps trying to force down their throats. This video is now going viral across France and the EU, spreading like wildfire on YouTube, TikTok and X. And it’s hardly surprising. People are fed up with being lied to, patronised and treated like fools by their own leaders. Every failure, every political disaster and every consequence of their own decisions is conveniently pinned on Russia. Enough is enough. Europeans are tired of the endless blame game, the manufactured excuses and an establishment that is incapable of taking responsibility for its own failures.

🚨 Asylum Seeker Mass Stabbing “One man is dead and another in a critical condition after a mass stabbing in Kerry IPAS Centre.” “Both the dead man and those injured are all Somalian nationals” 🇸🇴 “The attack happened in Irish Defence Force’s Ballymullen Barracks which is being used a refugee hotel.” How many more people need to be raped or murdered before this system gets completely shut down? How many billions wasted? How many more millions do political insiders need to profit? Mainstream refuse to report than 9% of the housing list in Dublin is now made up of Somalians… all of whom came through IPAS. why is that? Mainstream media refused to report on the incident reports that were released 2 years ago through FOI - we warned how dangerous the IPAS system is. IPAS is the institutional scandal of our generation. But Remember, there is no connection between illegal immigration and crime. None whatsoever. 🤡

🤔BAFFLED? Are they really baffled by collapsing birth rates? Young couples can’t afford homes or the cost of raising children. Women who want to marry, become mothers and raise families are mocked as “trad wives”. Men who want to protect and provide for their families are accused of “toxic masculinity”. In our schools, children are exposed to gender ideology and told they may have been born in the wrong body, potentially setting them on pathways involving drugs and surgeries that permanently alter their bodies, castrate and sterilise them. Political parties, NGOs and institutions pushed for a Referendum that aimed to erase women and mothers from our Constitution. And what about the growing questions surrounding fertility and the long-term effects of experimental Covid injections? These deserve proper independent scrutiny. So what exactly is baffling? You make family life unaffordable. You ridicule motherhood. You shame men for wanting to be providers and protectors. You undermine traditional family aspirations. You coerce the masses to get an experimental injection. Then you wonder why fewer people are having children. Perhaps the question isn’t why birth rates are collapsing, but why anyone should be surprised.
The national birth rate is the lowest since records began 📉 In this new series, Miriam O’Callaghan explores the hidden forces behind collapsing birth rates - and asks what it means for the generations to come? 📺 #IrelandsPopulationCrash | Starts Wednesday at 9.35pm

I’m sick of the false virtue surrounding mass migration. Preaching compassion while ignoring those in need in our own communities. A society cannot function when its own people are pushed aside, communities are put under pressure and legitimate concerns are dismissed as hatred. Compassion without capacity is no compassion for your own. Stop the virtue signalling and start facing reality.

Wow The charity, Liberty Recycling, is now being put into liquidation. "There is income generated in Ireland and then there’s worldwide income, largely generated in African countries." "The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau suspects that money flowing through the charity’s accounts seemed to have the “characteristics of money laundering” and that this involved “significant sums” "Among the concerning aspects of the way the charity had been run, there were substantial international transfers of funds not connected with charity, and multiple for-profit companies “conflated with the charity” - set up with similar names, and at the same address, but with no oversight from the charity." uh oh! could there be a by-election on the cards?? The French Prime Minister has just announced that the “far-left are planning an insurrection”. For years the media and establishment have warned about the threat of the “far-right”. In Ireland we have NGOs called “Far Right Observatory” or the “Hope & Courage Collective” receiving millions in Govt funding. Their sole purpose is to track the “far-right” by constantly drumming up fear, publishing rubbish reports and getting platformed on tv & radio. normal people who dared to speak out have been vilified. Venues willing to host meetings of concerned citizens are intimidated into cancelling the long march through the institutions worked. These people hold senior positions across universities, media, State boards & NGOs. The Reds are indeed under the bed!
A French woman says that the rioters and looters broke into her building and threatened her with rape while she was holding her child in her arms. “That’s collateral damage” responds the feminist activist Bettina Zourli who holds a Master’s in gender studies and focuses her work on gender norms, motherhood, reproductive rights, and voluntary childlessness (“childfree”) She describes herself as “feminist, childfree and Antifa” Zourli also says that all the stores getting looted also constitute a case of collateral damage and that the revolution, which she supports, must be violent. She has lectured in gender studies, including at the University of Lille and Université Rennes.

The Brits gave 78% of it to Arabs: A Palestinian Arab state was established in 1946. It was granted 78% of all the territory of British Mandatory Palestine, and it is called Jordan. The remaining 22% of the land was to be divided once more between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews. It was called the UN Partition Plan of 1947. The Jews accepted this plan and established their state, while Arabs rejected the plan and started the war against Israel. This war has lasted for nearly 80 years with varying intensity, and the Arabs still reject a two-state solution, which would mean recognition of Israel as a Jewish state. They want to establish their state on all the territory "from the river to the sea," and won't agree to anything else. And, besides, a "Palestinian people" has never existed in history, no matter what leftist and Muslim propagandists may claim. "Palestine" has always been the name of a territory, but not of a state or a nation.

Well done Ireland great look for the Irish Tourist Industry Dublin Hotel Accused of Revoking Bookings for an Event to Combat Antisemitism A leader of the Jewish community in Ireland said a hotel canceled a deal for 70 rooms when it learned they were reserved for guests attending the international forum. A Dublin hotel recently canceled a large booking after management learned that guests in the 70 rooms would be attending a conference on combating antisemitism, according to a leader of the Jewish community in Ireland. In a speech on Tuesday addressing conference delegates, Maurice Cohen, chair of the Jewish Representative Council of Ireland, said that the Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin had revoked the booking with no explanation after he explained the purpose of the gathering. The allegation caused a stir, particularly after the World Jewish Congress posted about it on Wednesday. The group, along with the European Commission and others, organizes the semiannual meeting of Jewish community leaders and government envoys, the Special Envoys and Coordinators Combating Antisemitism conference, in different international locations and held it in Ireland this week with Irish government support. The World Jewish Congress called on the hotel to provide a “clear explanation.” The hotel did not respond to an email from The New York Times on Wednesday, and the general manager did not immediately respond to an email or phone call on Thursday. That has left unchallenged Mr. Cohen’s account, which has generated online and international debate and headlines, coming as antisemitic incidents in Ireland and elsewhere have risen in recent years. Mr. Cohen said in an interview on Wednesday that the cancellation was an example of an “ambient antisemitism” that he said had increased amid outrage over Israel’s prosecution of the war in Gaza, underscoring the need to combat bias and hold gatherings like the one in Dublin. After his event manager sought conference rooms at the hotel in addition to the already confirmed guest rooms, Mr. Cohen said he had met in person with its general manager. It was then, Mr. Cohen said, that he told her the conference was about combating antisemitism and would include representatives of governments and Jewish communities who would be meeting with leaders of the Irish government. The general manager asked “the most peculiar question,” he said: whether the Israeli military was in any way involved. The Israeli military had no role in the conference, Mr. Cohen said he told her. Asked to comment, the Israeli military said that it had “found no relationship” with the conference. Mr. Cohen said that the hotel’s general manager told him she would need to speak to her superiors and that the next day, the hotel declined additional bookings by email, without explanation. When his event planner followed up about the guest rooms that he says were previously confirmed, the hotel responded in another email canceling the booking without providing a reason. Mr. Cohen argued that anger at Israel was being used to justify both subtle and overt bias against Jews in Ireland and beyond. Relations with the hotel “only turned sour after the mention of Jews and antisemitism,” he said. He said that the revocation violated Irish anti-discrimination laws, but the hotel has not made public its account of what happened. Deborah Lipstadt, a historian who served as the U.S. special envoy on combating antisemitism during the Biden administration, has attended the conferences on multiple occasions, but not the one this week in Dublin. She described the events generally as “very benign gatherings” of people not all of whom are Jewish with similar portfolios who brief each other on developments where they work. She said they have no connection to the Israeli government. Ms. Lipstadt and other experts on antisemitism say that intensifying opposition to Israel’s policies has been fueling anger and incidents against Jews worldwide, as many people conflate Jewish people with the Jewish state. Global data on antisemitic incidents in 2025, compiled based on police reports and other sources by the Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry this year, revealed “worrying trends,” the group wrote. Twenty people were killed in four antisemitic attacks in three countries Australia, the United States and Canada the highest number of casualties in a single year for over three decades. “Across the globe, the number of antisemitic incidents remained dozens of percent higher than in the period before the war” in Gaza following the Hamas-led attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the report found. Ireland has about 5 million people, of whom about 2,500 identified as Jewish in the 2016 census. In the first half of this year, there were more than 140 discriminatory incidents, including physical, verbal and digital attacks and harassment, among others, according to reporting from the Jewish Representative Council of Ireland. The group said it had compiled the report because there was no Irish government mechanism in place to track antisemitism. Jonathan Greenblatt, chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League, who attended the conference this week, said that he and other delegates “came to Ireland specifically to ring the alarm bell” about antisemitism. They met on Tuesday with Micheál Martin, Ireland’s prime minister, but did not discuss the hotel incident, which would be revealed later, at a reception at the Department of Foreign Affairs. Neither the prime minister’s office nor the Department of Foreign Affairs responded immediately to requests for comment. The conference participants found rooms elsewhere. Israel’s foreign ministry weighed in on Wednesday, accusing Ireland of hypocrisy for failing to condemn the incident. Ireland has been highly critical of Israel and its prosecution of the war in Gaza, where local health officials say more than 75,000 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict. Ireland also formally recognized the State of Palestine in 2024, drawing the ire of some Israeli leaders. Israel recalled its ambassador to Ireland in the immediate aftermath and later that year announced it was closing the embassy in Dublin, citing “the extreme anti-Israel policies of the Irish government.”

On this day—October 13, 2013 A leaked European Court of Auditors report found the Palestinian Authority had squandered nearly €2 billion in EU aid between 2008 and 2012 through corruption and mismanagement with almost no meaningful oversight. Thirteen years later, nothing has changed. Mahmoud Abbas, elected in 2005 for a four-year term that ended in 2009, just postponed elections … AGAIN. No legislative vote has been held since 2006. He continues to rule by decree while his own people have long viewed his institutions as corrupt. Western funding continues anyway. The EU remains the PA’s largest donor, with multi-year packages reaching €1.6 billion. The U.S. State Department reported the PA distributed roughly $156 million in 2025 to terrorists and their families. The European Commission itself publicly regretted a recent payment due to the ongoing “pay-for-slay” scheme. This is not a peace partner. This is not a government of any people but themselves. The PA is a kleptocracy sustained by Western checks. The 2013 audit was a warning. The decade and a half since has been the refusal to act on it.

Fair play to Gript which has been the sole domestic media outlet to report the jawdropping non-Irish on social housing waiting lists, first brought to prominence by Councillor Gavin Pepper for Dublin City Council. The fact that 9% of the housing list in Dublin is Somalian should have been frontpage news across all media. It was ignored apart from Gript, though Fox News did scrutinise the figures. We asked Grok to sort the waiting lists in last year's Housing Agency report by % non-EEA applicant below. About time, some frog shouted "the water is boiling!" even if our mainstream media is ignoring it.
What is the citizenship breakdown of households on your local authority’s social housing waiting list? Find out here. Read more in the comments 👇

I did an article on this a few weeks ago, about how rapid population growth driven by immigration is deepening the housing crisis, and got accused of being anti-immigrant by some of our loony left? David McWilliams is re-posting this stuff, it’s really basic Irelands population growth is at insane levels, during a massive housing crisis We are growing at about 1.7% average annually the last 5 years, against an EU average of about .24%. Ireland is 7 times the average. The next fastest growing comparable are Spain and Portugal, at half our rate. In the 20th century, our growth in the second half of the century was over .7%, considered rapid and Europe leading. We have gone into unsustainable overdrive. Grand if housing and services were keeping pace but they aren’t remotely. Based on the current 36k completions a year, it would take Ireland about 15 years to clear the estimated backlog of required housing stock. Meaning another generation are locked out of housing That isn’t remotely the immigrants fault. The immigrant is welcome. The problem is government policy that deprives many of housing. Increase house completions rapidly. Introduce temporary restrictions on non-resident/investor purchases of existing homes, like New Zealand, Canada, within EU law (Denmark). Align immigration with labour market needs. End and replace a flawed refugee system. The August 2026 YouGov poll saw 69% of British people says immigration was too high (much 47%, a little 22%). 43% said it was ‘mostly bad’ for Britain. Just 21% said ‘mostly good’? Shocking, worrying stats. We can’t assume Irish exceptionalism
Today's @FT on Spain's housing crisis moment, but with Ireland among the charts. Housing stock growth lags population growth, but doesn't when you exclude migration. cc @peterburkefg @JamesBrowneTD @OCallaghanJim @davidmcw The right and wrong lessons to learn from Spain’s housing crisis - ft.com/content/437ca3f0-9db4… via @FT

YOU deserve to know what is going on in your own country. YOU deserve an open book, not unanswered questions. That’s why I’m introducing my Recording of Nationality and Immigration Status Bill 2026. The public has a right to accurate, transparent data on crime, who is living in Ireland and our immigration system. Transparency is not something to fear @MichealMartinTD
🇮🇪 Irish PM Micheál Martin tells me Ireland is “not overrun” by immigrants -- as nearly 1 in 4 residents are now foreign-born. In an exclusive interview at Fox News in New York, I pressed the prime minister on immigration, asylum, crime, Ireland’s housing crisis — and the killing of Irish-American Jamey Carney. 🇺🇸 Martin acknowledged failures in Ireland’s asylum system, saying it “was too slow” in processing applications, but said the government has since accelerated applications and appeals. On crime, @MichealMartinTD said he was open to publishing crime statistics by nationality, while pushing back on linking crime to nationality. 📊 “I’m not so sure that murder or crime is specific to any nationality, if I’m honest,” the Taoiseach said. “I have no issue with data… As far as I’m concerned, data is important.” Martin called it a “shocking, shocking murder” and said Ireland is looking at tightening its laws, including moving faster when asylum applications are rejected. At the same time, Martin defended legal migration as “part of the Irish economic story,” pointing to Ireland’s expanding economy and demand for skilled workers from across the EU and beyond. 🇪🇺 🇺🇸 The comments come after President Trump warned during his Ireland visit about Europe’s approach to immigration. 🎥 1/3 on immigration from my @FoxNews Digital interview: Full story here ⬇️ 🔗 foxnews.com/world/irish-pm-s…
