BOURDAIN: Once you’ve had acorn salad and damson cordial at Redwall Abbey you’ll never stop wanting to crush Cluny the Scourge with a bell.
I don't care anymore. Tell people Attack of the Clones was universally beloved on release. Say we didn't have Halloween colors until the 2010s. Pretend any single year since the turn of the millennium was a golden period we all share in our collective memory. Not my problem.

Barbara Barrie had exactly one scene in ENLIGHTENED, a two-hander with Diane Ladd, and it's one of the most indelible moments in television of this century.
#RIP Barbara Barrie. She was simply wonderful (and was named best actress at Cannes) for her turn in the interracial love story ‘One Potato, Two Potato.’ Also played the mom in ‘Breaking Away’ (for an Oscar nom) and Hal Linden’s wife on ‘Barney Miller.’ hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

Rest in peace Orson Welles, you would have hated Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.

Some guy called me a “pussy” on my drive to work today. Right now, I am okay. But as someone who lives about 200 miles from where President Kennedy was assassinated, I am fearing for my life

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.
