seasons i and ii of dance of death have been an absolute pleasure.
i’ve had so much fun following every holder activity, keeping track of the chaos, and manually updating the art and on-chain metadata as the story unfolded.
i’ve met so many legends along the way. some stayed, some left, and new ones joined. somewhere along the way, this art project became my second home.
it’s been hard work, i won’t lie. but i’ve never had so much fun working on anything. in more ways than one, dance of death literally saved my life.
now, the grand finale is coming. one final dance to bring everything back together. something i’ve never attempted before, and something i hope will leave everyone who’s been part of this journey with a totem they’ll carry for life.
there’s a lot to prepare, so it’ll take some time. aiming to make the announcement around the middle of next month.
in the meantime, i’ll be sharing some blasts from the past, going back to the days before dance of death became what it is today. if you feel like reminiscing with me, visit bookofbee.app and take a look back at four years of art that brought us here.
four years. two seasons. countless memories.
one final dance to bring it all back.
with love,
bee

One thing that makes The Memes special is that it combines art w/ capturing bits of internet culture in the form of NFTs.
Kudos to @bookofbee for ensuring we mark the remarkable work of @0xQuit. Card 564 is still minting and all artist funds will be donated directly to 0xQuit!

3/ Artwork Commentary
This artwork is a commemoration of an unfortunate period in the space - specifically the exploit of PaymentProcessorV2 which caused security vulnerabilities for NFTs - and the subsequent rescue that, thanks to Quit (@0xQuit on X), became a legendary story.
100% of my cut of the mint proceeds will go to Quit as a thank you for turning a moment of chaos into something the community could rally around.
Made for the story. Minted for a legend.

"Quit" by @bookofbee. Minted into The Memes by 6529 today; a homage to the work of @0xQuit and a commentary on an ecosystem under siege.
ty to everyone who voted. a pleasure to create something that the community can rally around.
