Hereβs a ridiculously simple CRO hack for ANY Shopify store.
Takes less than 60 seconds.
Hereβs how:
1. Go to Online Store β Themes
2. Click.. β Edit default theme content
3. Search βalternativeβ
4. Find Checkout alternative payment method banner
5. Replace βORβ with a short testimonial or star rating
6. Save
Done.
Bonus tip: donβt just throw any review in there.
Use one that kills a final purchase objection, product quality, delivery speed, trust, etc.
Tiny change. Right at the point of purchase.
GO!

A great landing page doesnβt just look good.
It answers the shopperβs questions in the right order.
What is it?
Why should I care?
Can I trust it?
What do I do next?
Join us next week as for some landing page teardowns.: luma.com/j9qfuqmg

One question we get asked a lot by new customers (rightfully so) βΒ "What can we expect the results to be?"
As a design-focused company, it's always hard to track results, because its up to our customers if they want to share data with us. We have amazing relationships with our clients, even though for many of them the project ends with their report being delivered.
One of the primary goals of the refresh we've been going through is to be more vocal about our successes, and our customers. While we'll never be able to promise specific results, we consistently see the value of a fresh perspective regardless of what you're selling.
Here's a quick look at how Inspired Go paid back their Oddit within 12hrs of implementing it.

Second time in Jamaica.
The people here are some of the most open and welcoming Iβve come across anywhere.
But also quietly proud. Try giving a waitress a $1 tip and youβll find out what I mean.
Jamaica is something else. Iβd move here for a month tomorrow.
Super interesting βΒ this isn't perfectly executed, but it's the first time I've had a physical reaction to site.
I actually squinted for a second when the product moved out of the way.

How has @Spotify not fixed this shit βΒ why am I scanning release dates of podcast episodes to figure out their order?
Bad UX for end users, bad UX for podcasts using the app.

ALWAYS remove the guesswork for customers.
If they can't hold it in their hands, help them visualize exactly what it could be like.
In this case, users don't translate measurements to packing volume βΒ so just show them.

How are Shopify themes and cart apps still dropping designs with basic UX issues like this.
W/ the 'add' action & the 'delete' action this close together, there's a good chance the customer deletes their order if they try to add more to cart. Once that happens, bye-bye sale.
New episode with @kurtinc dropped last week βΒ go give it a listen and get that store humming.
Your Shopify store is probably making at least 3 of these 7 mistakes.
Shaun breaks them all down in the recent episode of The Unofficial Shopify Podcast, backed by data from 10,000+ store audits.
Simple solutions that actually move conversion rates.
