In BC at the moment and fall is here.

I've put my @btkofilms documentary 'Finding Water' up online to watch for free. It's about a group of geoscientists attempt to find more fresh water for the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya.

Shooting on film changed my perspective on filmmaking in a lot of ways. It's expensive and not as easy compared to digital, but I could see the difference in how everyone on set was working truly for the better.

Aftersun still kills me.

A short film should try to earn one feeling. Emily was grief turning into flight. Adok was trust rotting in neon. If you can name the feeling in a sentence, you’re in a good place to start writing

Project Hail Mary's success show's us that people want theatres, but they need good movies to get them there. It's hopeful, touching, inspiring, and human. We need more of that.
