Allow me to Reintroduce myself!! From now on when you address me, address me as Doctor! 6 long years of sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears! Man I wanted my mom to see me walk across that stage! It was hard to think about finishing after she passed But I know she’s smiling down!
This looks like a must read
🚨 my first solo-authored publication is officially out! I find that mothers must spend extraordinary amounts of time and money to stay connected to their incarcerated adult children. Read more here: doi.org/10.1177/089124322513…
Excited to share that I accepted an offer for a tenure track position in the school of social work at Rutgers @RutgersSSW thank you to my family, friends and mentors. As well as all the other programs who expressed interest in me! Now to finish this dissertation! #RutgersSSW

3/4 To serving as two years as the student-director-at-large on the SSWR board of directors representing my fellow student colleagues voices around the country, and to presenting countless of presentation and workshops including a brief and brilliant which I’m so proud of.
If you’ll be at @SSWRorg next week! Come see me become the first to ever be inducted as a SSWR Fellow While Still a Student!
Congratulations to this fabulous group of social work researchers still on X who are being inducted as @SSWRorg #SSWR2025 Fellows next week. @amykrings @PagingDrJama @JustinSHarty @drabharai1 @omowbray @builtfoesuccess sswr.org/awards/society-for-… #SocialWork
Congratulations can’t wait to hear where you landed!!
It wasn’t the economy or the price of milk and eggs. Biden wasn’t seen as a threat to whiteness or a threat to white masculinity or patriarchy. Harris was, so as hard as it may be to deal with it’s easy to see how we got here. We can’t underestimate the power of whiteness
The CSWE Minority Fellowship @cswemfp celebrated its 50th anniversary at this years APM and at the celebration Gala I was awarded the inaugural Minority Fellowship Program Emerging Scholar Doctoral Award ! It was truly a great time in KC!
