Monday, October 26, 2026, 7:03 PM: The latest satellite reveals a formidable storm axis developing in the central Pacific, roughly 500 miles west of Malibu, California. This storm is gaining strength, fueled by the exceptionally warm sea surface temperatures linked to the powerful El Niño off the coast of Peru, currently at 4.4 degrees Celsius.
Uncharacteristically for this latitude, the storm is set to intensify over the next 24 to 42 hours. The 552 DM low-pressure axis has more in store for Southern California and potentially Arizona, with thunderstorms likely to expand around this system. In the past 32 hours, I’ve observed more convective parameters taking shape, which could elevate the risk of severe weather late Friday from 4 PM through Halloween at 11 PM. I'm watching this closely in the next 24 - 36 hours; rainfall totals are likely to increase across our region. #CAwx #californiastorms #ElNiño

Harry Kane made sure to utilise his acceptance speech to thank those who helped put him in this position:
🤍 "I want to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur, I wouldn't be where I am today without Tottenham."
🫶 " I should thank my mom and dad. You took me to matches all over England. You never put pressure on me. You gave me the opportunity to be successful. I love you."
🔴 "To Vinny (Kompany), I know he's at home or I think still in the hospital, so wishing you very well. Hope this has given you a bit of energy.”
💍 "To my wife, you are my best friend. You wanted this award more than me. We have been through ups and downs. We have done it. You always wanted the best for me. You sacrificed yourself for my dreams. This would not have been possible without you."
Pure class from the Ballon d'Or winner.

• Once you're satisfied in Germany, is there something in you that feels like returning to the Premier League and scoring another 48 goals to get Alan Shearer's record?
Harry Kane: "Not at the moment, not right now. I'm loving life in Munich, Bayern are such a great club. We have an amazing team, great coach, so yeah, right now that's where my focus is, and I'm extremely happy. And to be winning awards like this, it just shows why I made the move in the first place. Of course, there's always ambitions, there's always dreams for new achievements, new things. I still have a lot to achieve in this game, the Champions League from club level, winning a major trophy with England, this is the number one priority. So there's so many great things I want to achieve, and I'm learning that in a career, in life, you don't really have much of a say, you just have to go with the flow, see where it takes you, believe in what you're going to do. Like I did making the move, and then just go full gas and, right now, it's with Munich, and yeah, we'll see where that takes me."

Harry Kane just won the Ballon d'Or, the first Bundesliga player to do it since Sammer in 1996.
Bayern win, but the league could win bigger if it markets this right and the title race gets tighter.
Can the Bundesliga capitalize, or does Bayern's dominance kill the moment?

The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball.
They are doing things that have become unusual.
They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for.
They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals.
They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues.
They hit the ball the other way.
They value putting the ball in play.
They adjust their approach based on situation and count.
They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.
They bunt and steal bases.
They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities.
The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.
