Revisiting my favorite George Carlin quote about the power brokers and vested interests that have always controlled this country: "It's a big club...and you ain't in it."
Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

I've turned my penchant for periodically using "big words" on the air over the years into a bit. However, I can't recall ever seeing the word emasculation appear in a game recap.
FINAL: Brewers 10, Rays 1 A complete emasculation. Brewers batters swatted seven consecutive hits and scored eight runs with two outs in the fifth. Brewers pitchers shut down Tampa Bay hitters all night. Milwaukee is up 3-0 and can clinch its first World Series title on Tuesday.

Well, at least we don't have to watch the rest of the game and can focus on Monday Night Football like most of the country.
The Milwaukee Brewers' lineup tonight: Eight players have at least 1 hit. Eight players have at least 1 RBI. Eight players have scored at least 1 run. Jake Bauers is the lone player without a hit or an RBI.

How about “for the sake of the program”, everybody @TexasTech stops talking and doing interviews on @DoubleT973? @robertgio, let’s discuss.

I understand that NIL money has changed everything, but when did Texas Tech jump the shark and become thoroughly out of control? Many of their alums are dopes, but a power broker billionaire should be much smarter than this. Just so petty...
Cody Campbell tagging Texas Tech employees and threatening to have the school remove access from a radio station because of a post by a producer with 175 followers... Take the checks, take the optics issues that come with the guy who wrote them

Before 17 nerds tell me that analytics wouldn't endorse that bizarre decision, I fully understand the distinction. My point is that in recent years Coaches have become emboldened to make reckless calls and then postgame mention data etc...as cover.
Stop using analytics as a crutch for outlandish decision making. This is coaching malpractice by Dan Campbell.

The Jets response: we should have never hired Aaron Glenn. Why wait until the end of the season to fire him?

And now the Broncos are predictably pulling away from the Cardinals. This late slate of games is gruesome.
The NFL's goal of global domination couldn't be any clearer, but rather than ship the Steelers and Saints to Paris it would be nice to have a fourth game in this late window for Red Zone purposes especially because the Rams are blowing out the Raiders.

Going through some additional College Football results from yesterday. Great to see the continued resurgence of Northwestern, but what does it say about the Big 10 this year that the Wildcats 28 points were the most scored by any team in the Conference this week, knowing OSU idle

Brock Purdy's second pick was inexcusable. I realize the 49ers receiving corps has been wiped out because of injuries, but we have seen this movie before from Brock throughout his career.

All it took for Arch Manning to turn his season around was to be inspired by the least talented guy on Entourage
What a game ! First met Arch backstage at one of my shows, he revealed how Entourage has been an inspiration to him. Really grateful that it’s being shared with the guys who have next

Donald Trump has made $2.2 billion off the presidency—and counting. The only person making a "fortune" is him.
TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

Take a moment to digest. Lincoln Riley has NEVER put up just 7 points in a game as a head coach. Luke Fickell's Wisconsin thoroughly dismantled Lincoln Riley's USC. What a massive, awful, shocking loss.
FINAL: Wisconsin 24, USC 7. Wild.
