And the residents of Ottawa will be paying all those lawyers soooo much money that not budgeted

Another satisfied #octranspo #LRT customer??
If 67% satisfied was the starting point, that means passengers are 33% unsatisfied on a good day.
Bad days are ??

Wouldn't it be great if #LRT passengers had music to listen to while waiting for #TrainyMcTrainFace ??

Imagine if Ottawa had invested in electric buses instead of #LRT
We'd have a fully electrified system now. We might even have better charging infrastructure if city councillors had not decided to dust off a cancelled project.
Trainy-McTrain Face
@JimWatsonOttawa Legacy!!
It would have been better if Ottawa had never built an LRT system. To persuade people to take public transit, it must be RELIABLE. Buses were at least reliable. Its unforgiveable corners were cut so @JimWatsonOttawa could check some boxes. LRT has put our city back 25 years.
Remember how OC transpo decided it was OK to conduct only some of 12 continuous days of testing? Summer conditions & still multiple problems
If your standard of excellence is only Mediocre when you fall below that you've failed.
Tech excellence is 67% just C+ on a good day

They ran trains all night to try and stop the ice??? There was no freezing rain overnightâŚ.it started in the morning?
They experts all went back to France and Austria.

Always happens in that stretch of path. Never anywhere else. Why canât the experts supervising the experts who supervise RTM get this stretch of line fixed?
The city likes to have #LRT updates In Camera so the public can't attend and no minutes are available

Every 20 minutes in this weather pathetic
Also I think itâs more then 5 trains
The point is it keeps happening no one literally cares
Have they even talked about the lrt report at council
It's the new GHG reduction strategy. Diesel buses every 20 minutes will kill the planet at a slower rate
Replying to @grahamr299
20 mins is no where frequent enough. I bet not one OC exec or city councilor took the train/bus today, if they are even in the office.
I wonder how much the OCTranspo comms team costs taxpayers?? If they were all fired maybe we could afford more buses.
All the crisis comms in the world canât fix a system that doesnât work.
Imagine being reliant on transit because you work in a job where you donât have the luxury of work from home and canât afford to drive.
Today was horrendous for you. And who was there for you?

Glen Gower says they run every 3-4 minutes most of the time...while crossing his fingers and hoping

#LRT needs Jaws of Life to extract passengers from stopped train...
Our transit system is a worldwide joke.
"Never before have 5 trains been down at the same time!!"
At least CBC is providing some updates.

Chair of Transit commission was crossing his fingers & hoping #LRT would have a good day yesterday.
Is that a new Best Practice for transportation management?
Is that a sustainable solution? Forecasting full ridership in 2022? Were finance staff crossing fingers too?
And who asked them all to keep silent??

Declaring that you are 'losing your mind' is a reason for a staff member's Fitness For Work to be assessed. Do different rules apply to everything in the mayor's office??
Just so we are clear - the mayor can âloose his mindâ about the #LRT, but I canât speak the truth without them conspiring to contrive reasons to remove me from Commission? Cool cool.
And he blamed the riders for the doors jamming, even though there was another reason
Manconi confirms that Councillor Allan Hubley knew all along about the issues during testing and he never told Transit Commission. #LRT
Does the Commission really have access to Manconi's text & what's app messages?? He retired almost a year ago so wouldn't his devices have been wiped??
The shamed former treasurer was 'retired' more than 2 yrs ago. Hers have probably been destroyed.

Commission rose just before 5 p.m.
Tomorrow: STV's Tom Prendergast.
Then, at 2 p.m. Tuesday: John Manconi.
I wonder how much money 'the family' gave in political contributions to #WatsonClub mem ers?? Were they all hired through fair and open competitions or placed in their roles thru the appointment process??

And... Plasco got a big city contract in 2011...
cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/plâŚ
At the time that department was run by Chris Swail, who is married to Robyn Guest, Brian's sister,.
Which makes Swail, your brother-in-law, Adair points out. #ottCIty #OttNews
Can a Sole Sourced contract that's almost at the maximum limit really be Best Value?? Aren't there some rules in the Procurement By-law??
Replying to @KatePorter613
Adair shows an hourly rate that came in just shy of limit -- at a time Guest was also still working at Plasco and doing other city contracts. #OttCity
