being unteachable is a fundamental flaw. it is the same flaw we loathed in our parents, as teenagers, for insisting on their tenacious ways. the flaw is present in the lecturers we despised for thinking they knew it all. the very flaw you now exhibit on twitter, without shame.

Adult bullying is far more calculated than people realize. It is destroying someone's reputation with lies, turning people against them, humiliating them in public, deliberately excluding them, and withholding information to watch them fail. It is knowing exactly how to hurt someone while making it look like they are the problem. And some of the worst bullying happens among fully grown adults who should know better

Selective tolerance is interesting. People will passionately defend freedom of choice in principle, but become hostile when others exercise that same freedom differently.

As a child, you think adulthood means freedom. Then you grow up and discover that freedom requires money, money requires work, work requires time, and time is the one thing you never seem to have enough of.

what sucks is that life could be so easy. so easy. we have enough resources to feed people, house them, and lift them out of poverty. we could distribute those resources fairly and give people room to actually live. instead, millions suffer while a handful of billionaires hoard more wealth than they could ever spend.
