Earlier this week representatives from Glentoran attended 'More Than The Game' showcase at Parliament Buildings. It was powerful to stand alongside fellow Northern Ireland Football League clubs and demonstrate the real impact football has beyond the pitch - strengthening communities, supporting wellbeing, growing the women’s game and driving local economic value. With over 40 MLAs and MPs in attendance, and contributions from voices across the game including our own Colin Jess representing the club and the Glentoran Social Partnership - the message was clear: football in Northern Ireland is more than the game. Clubs like ours are proud to serve as community anchors across the region and we’re committed to continuing that work for the people we represent. #COYGlens
